"Having been to Marlowe several times before COVID, I was looking forward to seeing how they had changed after being shuttered for awhile, and doing some renovations. Mostly, Marlowe is pleasantly and reliably the same, with a few minor disappointments, but also improvements. One surprise was that prices have increased only slightly in the last couple of years, and while still an upscale place, they're competitive. The interior is a bit more spacious and fresh looking, without any significant change in look still a comfortable and inviting space. However, some change has resulted in significantly higher noise levels. This is no longer a place for quiet conversation at times we had to almost yell to be heard from directly across the table. The menu is also a carry forward with a few updates. My pork cheeks melted in the mouth, with a delicious rich au jus, and a side of bright green firm broccoli (not unseasoned and overcooked as is common in many middle brow restaurants). There was a croquet that was wet and lacking texture, and an heirloom salad that was also wet with a weak balsamic dressing, but the vegetables were fresh and flavorful. Overall I would still recommend Marlowe, they seem to be still refining the atmosphere and menu for the neighborhood and city that has definitely changed it's tastes post COVID."

Amazing food, drinks, and service. Usually busy, so reservations are a good idea.

I've been to this place a couple of times already and I'm always happy to come back. Sometimes I get there when they only have a bar menu but their Marlowe burger with horseradish alioli is superb View menu

The brunch menu is short but they get it right. The food was spot on, and was delicious. Even the side salad is massaged to perfection in its dressing. Highly recommend this place and my true favorite from now on!

Busy and popular place with good meat options, steak, and juicy burgers with fries. Sadly, vegetarian options are an afterthought and vegan food options don 't exist. The Little Gem Lettuce salad is a mess two lettuce leaves drowned in shaved veggies and an unpleasant dressing. Simpler would be better. Also, that 's not really a meal alternative for people who don 't eat meat. Sadly, the Brussels sprouts couldn 't be prepared without butter. The wait staff was friendly enough but not able to accommodate any requests like for a vegan meal. This place is way ! too loud. Possibly fun for a happy hour drink with meat eaters but not recommended for having a conversation unless you enjoy yelling a...

We dined here tonight for the first time and we really enjoyed our menu choices. We started with cocktails. Hubby ordered an old fashioned and I ordered the desert rose. Both very good. We both elected to order the Marlowe burger and Bordeaux. The burger was delicious and cooked to order and we really enjoyed the horseradish aioli. The fries were great and the Bordeaux was nicely paired with the burger. The only constructive feedback I would offer on the burger is perhaps choose to substitute the shredded lettuce for arugula to elevate the burger and compliment the sauce. The server was attentive and friendly. The atmosphere was moderately noisy, but not so much as to negatively impact the e... View menu

I’m glad Marlowe is back after being closed for much of the pandemic. I’ve been twice this year, first as a regular guest for dinner, and then for a party in their private room. The food and drinks are consistently excellent. My favorites were the deviled eggs (some of the best I’ve ever had), the sunchoke latkes (a brilliant and original invention), and the super tender and flavorful poulet vert roast chicken. The fries and frito mixto were also both delicious; hot and crisp and perfectly salted. Service is excellent, with friendly staff always proving helpful with recommendations, water refills, meal pacing, and drink refills. For the party, they were especially helpful in accommodating wi...

I had dinner with two girlfriends at Marlowe the other night and we had a great experience. My only complaint is that it’s pretty loud so we had to speak up and lean in to hear each other. Jorge was our sever and he was delightful. We met the chef/owner and we were thrilled it was a woman. She sent us some extra goodies for dessert which made for an even more amazing experience. We shared the scallops which were delicious, the broccolini which might have been our favorite dish, the crudo, and the burger. We didn’t realize there was horseradish on the burger which wasn’t what we were looking for but we assume we didn’t look closely at the description. We enjoyed the chocolate cake and Loretta...
