"The hotel was well kept, but bed and breakfast was misleading. It's not a Cafe but a small kitchen area that has a limited supply of frozen sandwiches, yogurt and coffee.Room had funky step from bathroom to bedroom. The bathroom door and entry door where hitting each other, so you had to remember to close it or other peson couldnt get back in room. The refrigerator in room wasn't on and didn't notice so our medicine and food were bad when we opened in morning. This was very upsetting. If you get a garden room, bring earplugs, the noise from the wildlife woke me several times.The restaurant was rustic/romantic. We sat in a little room with big cozy chairs and a very uncomfortable table. My husband got the Osso buco, which was perfect. I ordered the crabcakes, but they were out. Had to wait a very long time for the server to return to retake my order. Ended up getting steak tips. Ordered blue got medium with one slightly medium rare and tough. Since it was late and my husband won't eat if I returned it, I ate what wasn't shoe leather and the stray cats outside hotel got an expensive meal.Grounds were kept, but shrubbery needs a little more attention. The pond was a little gross and slimy.Slightly over-priced but comfortable. If the breakfast was even a limited fresh buffet style and the restaurant got tweeked, be a rave review."

"The food is consistently enjoyable, and the service is friendly and accommodating. We opted for the buffet and really appreciated the seafood and cheese grits. However, during our visit tonight, the food wasn't up to its usual standards and was cold on the buffet. Typically, it's served hot. We suspect we arrived a bit late for dinner, so next time we'll make an effort to be there around 5 PM."

"The owner is quite stingy and doesn't honor the goodwill meal periods. For instance, when it comes to the roast beef, he only puts two slices on a footlong. If you request a little extra salad, he charges you for double toppings. The owner typically makes the sandwiches himself, but he doesn’t prepare them properly, often prioritizing time and cost over quality. I cannot recommend this Subway location; you'd be better off going to McDonald's or somewhere else."
