"I truly LOVE eating fro. here but I would like to say that Ive been ordering for about once a week for about 1 year. I always order the Agave-Chipotle Chicken and its simply delicious!! The reason for the not being 5 stars is that there isnt any plasticware and napkins provided in the bag. I ALWAYS have to search around my job to find these items in order to eat my food. I have it Doordash to me and there isnt a way to ask for plasticware on the app. I also ALWAYS run out of salsa because the container is never full, its usually about 1/2 way filled abd its simply isnt enough for the amount of chips that are supplied. There isnt a way to ask for an extra salsa through the app either. Could you please add plasticware, napkins, and include a larger container for the salsa or either fill it up please? Thank you SO much!!!"

The birria tacos and the consommé were AMAZING! I could have used a bit more onion, but other than that, they disappeared in just 15 minutes! Great job!

My delivery was quite quick, but unfortunately, the food did not meet my expectations. The shrimp was overcooked and cold; when I peeled off the shell, it was mushy and unappetizing. I can't recommend that dish. The steak was also cold and undercooked. Overall, I wouldn't recommend this restaurant.

When my sister usually orders from here she receives a bag of chips for each order. We ordered a queso for $5 that was the smallest queso order Ive received at that price and only one small bag of chips. Had I realized the size of the queso when I ordered it I probably wouldnt have ordered it. She was also supposed to have a side of consommé with her entree that was not included in our order. Delicious food but unhappy with some of this delivery.

This is the second time I’ve ordered from this restaurant, and both times my order has been wrong. During my first order, I informed them that I have a shellfish allergy, yet they sent me shrimp chimichangas instead of chicken. Tonight, I ordered grilled steak tacos with bell peppers and sour cream, but they added guacamole, pico de gallo, and chopped tomatoes instead. I also ordered birria tacos that were supposed to come with guacamole, pico de gallo, and tomatoes, but they only included cheese, cilantro, and onion. I won't be ordering takeout from here again; it’s better to go there in person. View menu

"service was excellent. the food was delicious, but the portions were ridiculously small for the price. we had one ate and one ate and were not satisfied after eating. the restaurant should serve brot as part of the meal, and the portions must be increased. because, how small the meal was, and the fact that we were still hungry after we spent $40 per person, we do not think that this restaurant is a good one, we do not recommend it, and we will not go back."

"Refectory We went to the Refectory Cafe for lunch on a Saturday (they were doing brunch). We walked in and weren’t sure where to order at first. We walked to the register and ordered. They gave us a stand for our table (not a number). Our food came out very fast and it was delicious. I got the French Dip sandwich it was so good. I opted for traditional French fries they were the best fries I’ve had for a while. The French Dip was amazing it had the perfect amount of meat. My boyfriend got the Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich he loved it he said it had the perfect amount of crunch from the toasted bun and the sauce was perfect. We liked it so much we came the next day as well. This was Sunday it said wait to be seated so we did, we sat down and were told to order at the front. A little confusing but no big deal. I ordered the Grilled Chicken Sandwich with fries my boyfriend got the Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich again and I got my son the butternut squash soup. The chicken sandwich was really good. The French dip however was my favorite. The squash soup was ok, my fussy 1 year old wouldn’t eat much of it. We will definitely be back though!"

"Hadn’t been to Vin Rouge for years, but had fond memories. We invited two guests. The restaurant was busy, but not especially so. We ordered and then waited. And waited. The drinks finally came. Then we waited. The appetizers took half an hour to arrive, and they were quite tasty. Then we waited. And waited. It was close to 45 minutes between courses. I finally asked the waitress about the delay. The response was to say that the chef said dinner would be out soon. She had been serving other tables and failed to notice my attempts to get her attention. When the mains finally arrived, they were not as described by the wait staff. There was garnish instead of green beans. There were fries instead of mashed potatoes. Meanwhile, the noise level had become intolerable. We couldn’t converse with our guests. I found the experience to be extremely embarrassing. Fortunately, with so many excellent restaurants in Durham, we won’t need to endure this sort of treatment again."
