"Excellent value for exceptionally high-quality thick-cut sushi. I've been back several times because of this. While the menu is small, it doesn't affect the overall experience at all. Recently, I dined in with a friend, and a homeless man entered and began bothering us with questions while we were trying to enjoy our meal. The cashier/server approached him politely and asked him to leave. After the man had gone, the server spoke to us in a friendly and charismatic manner, which we appreciated. He also greeted other customers with the same charm. Overall, it was a truly wonderful experience. I highly recommend this place!"

This is a fantastic spot for budget-friendly sushi. The noodle salad is exceptional! Just a heads up, they only accept card payments now.

Very simple and small joint to eat at. Got the chirashi with salmon, yellowtail and eel. It was pretty standard and good price. Nice place to stop by for a simple quick meal.

The prices for the rolls are quite affordable. However, the chirashi bowl is not very inexpensive, and the fish wasn't exceptionally fresh (as shown in the last photo, where the fish is falling apart). View menu

The sushi is top-notch. I typically order it to go because the small space fills up quickly right after opening. If you plan to eat in, be prepared for a wait. Lunchtime usually has a shorter wait, but the quality remains excellent. They now accept credit cards as well.

I’ve visited this restaurant more than 30 times over the past decade, and it remains one of my favorites. Despite some minor price increases over the years, I still find it to be a great value with consistently high quality. My only wish is that the rice had a bit more seasoning.

Tiny little store with delicious chirashi bowl. The fish is very fresh and delicious, portion is generous and price is very fair. I will definetely come again. P.s.: There were some flies flying around in the resturant but it is hard to avoid at this time of year and it really did not bother us. View menu

I'm conflicted about this restaurant. Upon entering, there's a strong odor reminiscent of a sewage issue that makes you wonder if you'll feel unwell. That being said, it's definitely more of a takeout spot rather than a place where you'd want to dine in. The silver lining is that the food is tasty and the portions are generous—plus, you won't get sick from the meals. The service is quick, and the food is decent. Overall, I'd rate the food 5 out of 5.

Really simple place that has a great quality to price ratio. I love the variety of nigiri that's available, and the portions are solid. I don't think the skewers are anything special, but almost everything else on the menu is great. Their sukiyaki is solid, and a pretty decent price. I absolutely love getting their rolls just because of the price, and then opt for the good nigiri for the fish I really want to enjoy. If you don't know what to get, the Chirashi is a great choice. I've also asked for Salmon only (Pretty much a Sake Don), and they've accommodated that.
