"I revisited the Layton/Ogden area and finally had the chance to dine at Napoli's Italian. This cozy Italian restaurant has a warm and inviting atmosphere. Although we had to wait a bit to be seated, the staff was exceptionally friendly. Once seated, everything on the menu sounded tempting, and I chose the Pasta Combo, which includes baked ziti, lasagna, a cheese ravioli, and a cheese manicotti. I couldn't resist adding a scapoloni as well. For our appetizer, we ordered the caprese salad, which was fresh and delightful, and the warm, soft bread was a treat. The caprese salad had a unique deconstructed presentation, with olives and diced tomatoes, but the fresh mozzarella was the highlight, even if the dish didn't fully meet my expectations. The scarparelli were outstanding, with perfectly cooked noodles and a well-balanced red sauce complemented by a nice mix of meats and vegetables. However, the Pasta Combo didn't quite deliver as anticipated. All the different pastas had similar flavors, making it feel somewhat homogenous. I only discovered the ravioli at the very end, turning it into a bit of a treasure hunt. Still, the flavor of the red sauce was excellent, and the melted mozzarella added to its appeal. The staff's warmth made our dining experience feel more like home. Overall, it was a fantastic visit, and I look forward to trying more dishes on my next trip! Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4"

We visited Napoli’s Italian for the first time, and the food was outstanding! I ordered the Little Italy, while my husband opted for the pasta combination. The chicken parmigiana and fettuccine Alfredo were particularly delicious. The complimentary bread rolls were wonderfully garlicky and paired perfectly with the oil dip! We also tried the fried cheese; it was tasty, but I don't think it was worth the price, so I’ll skip it next time. Overall, the portions were generous, and each meal came with a side salad featuring your choice of dressing, including three house specialties. We tried the ranch and Italian dressings, and the ranch was the standout. The ambiance was pleasant, with lovely de...

"I rarely give 5 stars. You have to earn them. Laan Thai does just that. This restaurant checks so many boxes we were shocked. Typically restaurants fall in a category or two. Flavor, Cost, Service, Cleanliness and Decor, and branding.FoodThe food is very flavorful and the mixture of flavors stands out. We had the crispy duck red curry and pineapple pork fried rice. The flavors and textures are expertly crafted. The crispy duck is in fact crispy. Seems like a small detail. But many mom and pop restaurants don't take the time and care in the food details. This restaurant does. Very impressive. Also the serving sizes are huge! I suspect that over time the food quality and at least the serving sizes might change. They have only been open for 4 months. It will be interesting to see if they can maintain that business model.CostThe cost is a bit higher then most places. This is not a cheap date night. We spent about 25 a person for just the for the 2 entrees. Before people complain this is definitely a you get what you pay for The cost is in line with other restaurants in this price range. Totally worth the cost. Especially if you enjoy Thai!ServiceWow! It is not often service is top notch in this kind of restaurant. Typically the service consists of very friendly staff. The service watched our table very closely. Which was very refreshing. There was no staff members sitting in the corner on their phone. Every moment was utilized by the staff for their customers. Impressive.Clean/DecorThis is possibly the restaurants only downfall. The restaurant was clean. It is decently taken care of. The decor is not cheesy or over the top. The videos that were playing on the TVs was an interesting choice. They should show custom videos of their own or stock content of Asian inspired Street food. They were streaming some random YouTube video of street food and some guy walking around a city? I like the idea. But it cheapened the feeling of the restaurant. Some awesome Asian food or street food being shown that looks as good as their food would up the overall feeling of the restaurant.BrandingMost restaurants lack in this category. Asian restaurants usually fail in this category. But wow! Just open their menu that is expertly designed was very refreshing. The photos were impressive and alllows an inside look to their food. The mouth watering images really help you understand the value of the food you are about to eat. They need to update their building sign as the old business sign is still hanging.I very rarely give a 5 star. Companies need to earn it. This is definitely a 5 star restaurant. Our hope is their food quality stays the same. Their food costs must be high so you may see the quality or portion sizes stay as they are.Definitely a must go."
