I attended Sad Girls Night and had a fantastic experience! The service was excellent, and the music was amazing!

The ambiance for the show was wonderfully intimate. It's a shame that it's closing down; I'll definitely miss it!

NBT does what it does very well, and it hasn't changed much through many years. A fun place to hear live music in an intimate setting. Lots of friendly locals--tatted or bearded or both . Nice selection of beers on tap. You can sit at the bar if you need to, but mostly this is about standing and stomping.

New Brookland is probably my favorite place on earth besides my own bed. I've been coming here since I was in high school, and it's always been THE spot to see bands. As far as venues go, The Senate is fine, but they don't hold a candle to this place. If a band you love is coming to Columbia, pray to your deity of choice that they're coming to NBT.

This venue has been a staple in the Columbia area for many years, and for good reason. I've been attending events here for a long time, and I truly appreciate the dedication that keeps this place thriving. After not visiting for a while, I recently attended two shows and was pleased to see the upgrades that have been made. I really enjoyed the music with the new sound system. Had a great time last night, I'm 45 years old and have been going to metal and rock shows for a long time, I've never been out of any place until last night. The guy who threw me out was very unprofessional and didn't know what was going on. The code in the pit is peace and dance always looking for your brothers and sisters and pick them when they fall. You screwed Buddy. Ruined the show and experience for me.#powertrip

I've been to some concerts here recently, and it's an excellent little venue. It's small and has a cozy atmosphere. There is ample free parking nearby. The bar offers a wide variety of local and regional beers, and the prices are incredibly affordable for a concert hall. There's also a guy in a window at the outdoor area serving up delicious food at great prices. I'm excited for many more fantastic shows here in the future.

I really enjoy this venue; it’s always a fun experience. Just a heads up, it can get quite warm inside. The bartenders are fantastic. My main complaint, however, is about the guy who operates the sound booth. He is incredibly rude and aggressive toward attendees at the shows. I’ve seen him slam the barricade forward, hitting people in the back, and he’s even pushed people off the ledge at the back of the building. Personally, he used his phone to repeatedly poke my shoulder to get me to move. Everyone else is great, but he is definitely the worst, and from what I've gathered, everyone else I've talked to feels the same way. View menu
