"I absolutely loved this restaurant! The traditional French decor and cozy fireplace (we were lucky to sit right next to it) combined with the excellent service made us feel like we were transported to France. The authentic popovers were incredible - so flaky on the inside! Eating them gracefully was nearly impossible, but it made for a fun dining experience. We decided to try the house smoked salmon as our appetizer, as it's not often seen on menus. We will definitely be ordering it again in the future. The beef Wellington was beautifully prepared, tender, and delicious. The Bouillabaise was another standout dish, not commonly found on menus. It was hearty and flavorful, with a generous serving of seafood including jumbo prawns, mussels, and a variety of fish in a delicious broth. The desserts did not disappoint either. The pumpkin cheesecake with caramel glaze and walnuts was absolutely delicious. I highly recommend trying it during the season. We will certainly be returning, with plans to come back in December to try the holiday menu."

I did not like the food, very pricy and not very tasty. Oh I have not found a good France or Italian restaurant

The restaurant is too expensive. The food was delicious and the menu was extensive. The drinks were also very good. However, considering the high prices (our party of 6 spent $585 including tip), they should invest in new chairs as the ones they had were in poor condition.

Decided a treat was in order due to a special occasion. I was in Potomac and decided to try this french restaurant that had caught my eye a few times in passing by. Old but quaint and cozy. Wholesome food and quite a pleasant dining experience. Plan to try out more dishes on another special occasion. View menu

Went for their all you can eat buffet. Huge and very tasty selection of both breakfaat and hot lunch items as well as salads and a,raw bar. Omelettes are made fresh to order and are delicious. Beware, the food is set out once and not refreshed so if you get there later than 145 or 2, the food is very picked over.

Old school French place. Salads for lunch were all solid, although were served with a very small side cup of relatively simple, not complex, but reasonably tasty dressings. If the salads were tossed or just a bit more spiced they would be top notch. The lobster tail on the salad was prepared above average, as was the ahi tuna. Salad toppings were all great. The popovers were absolutely fantastic! Service was pretty good “old school” style.

Normandie Farm will be closing its doors forever in just 4 days, so this review is serving as a lasting testament to their French country cuisine. The gazpacho had a nice hint of spices, but was a bit oily. The wedge and endive salads were excellent when lightly dressed. The Veal Oscar was delicious, although the combination of crab imperial and potatoes made it a rather heavy dish. The staff was friendly, and the table service on the terrace was quite good. They were quick to take orders and deliver food, although slightly slower towards the end of the meal. View menu

A very nice setting French style seafood restaurant. It is a plain-looking house off Falls Road. The inside looks elegant and classic. The waiters who served us is well-trained and humorous. He recommended Maryland Blue Crab Soup, which is today’s chef special. It tastes really good! Big lumps of crab meat at the bottom of soup. Crab cake is very tasty but not salty, just like what I expected. However, the fries is even better! I even think the fries is the highlight of this entree. The other two entrees my friends ordered, roasted sea scallops and seared filet of salmon, my friends said both of them are 4.5 out 5. Highly recommended. Very good experience!

I love it! The traditional French decor with fireplace(we were happy enough to sit right next to it) and wonderful service made us feel like we had traveled to France. The authentic popovers are AMAZING!!!! So flaky inside! There was no way to eat it gracefully and not make great chaos. We chose the house smoked salmon as our hors d'oeuvre, as this is not offered on too many menus. That'll be all right. The beef Wellington was beautiful, tender and delicious!! How was the Bouillabaise other article found on a few menus. Hearty and tasty with a generous amount of seafood - a few jumbo shrimps, half dozen shells, 2 large shells, beautiful pieces of fish and delicious broth. Dessert didn't disa...
