"A friend raved about this place so we had to try. The onion rings are really good and very flavorful. Not a fan of the chili fries. I feel like it needed sour cream or something. It was just salty. I had the oreo mint freezes which they said it was a vanilla ice cream with oreo and mint toppings but it was mint ice cream with oreo so not sure why she said that. Not a fan of the freezes because it melts quickly. Ill have to try the sundae next time. The ranch dipping sauce it good but it's a bit liquidy..."

"Went in for the first time...I absolutely loved it! The waiter was extremely attentive, checked on me,filled my tea w/o needing to ask...It was fairly busy being a Monday night and the place is clean! I want to say that I overstayed my welcome,but he assured me that I was ok and to take my time,so I did. Had the Shrimp and Catfish....mouth watering! Omg!!!!! Will be back....heard that the fried steak is excellent.....Thank you for a great dining experience!"

"Crosse's restaurant is a nice place to get a good meal. It is a clean, well managed establishment. The bathroom was tidy and that's after a small crowd, so definitely a plus. There were not a lot of people at the time of day we ate there (after the lunch rush so it was quiet and peaceful. They even turned down the music when asked. The waitress was wonderful with her smile, great attitude, and friendly recommendations. The food was good, decidedly Louisiana choices. (My son-in-law is going to like it! His opinion will be the real test. The sauce their chef apparently makes is very unique and really tasty. The only negative is that the fresh fish was overcooked, therefore tough. ‍ Overall, I'd say yes, try it out and take your friends. Price wise it's on the medium to high side, so if that's a consideration, you might think twice. On the other hand, it's definitely not copycat, cheap quality fast food either."
