"My first treat to enjoy this great BBQ. My first comment is how nice the team was. Everyone was great. Made me feel like I was having bbq at the family house. I was told that the Brisket is the best thing on the menu.. So I gave the lunch brisket sandwich a try.. The hard choice was the sides besides. I decided to go with the cole salad and the potato salad. I highly recommend the potato salad it's probably some of the best I've ever eaten. The brisket sandwich is very moist and barbecued to the perfect texture. Getting brisket right is really really hard and the guys have figured it out. They also do the old standards of pulled pork chicken and it looks like turkey once in a while. Do yourself a favor pull off the freeway and stop at this place a place. You will really enjoy it."

Phenomenal pulled pork and the best baked beans I've ever had, hands down. Cole slaw was nice and creamy. All things I'm very picky about and was very pleasantly surprised.

I ordered ripening and they were so delicate and tasteful. the grill sauce is also good. if they are in this area, they should not miss this place. you have to sit outside to feed and they have porta potty.

I used to work in Albany almost every day, and this place was my go-to spot for a quick and delicious meal. I've tried everything on the menu, and you really can't go wrong with any choice. However, the brisket is truly exceptional. Their sauces are great, too. I particularly enjoy the mustard-based sauce, which I believe is called Oregon Gold. They even have a secret menu! View menu

I'm not sure if this isn't the best BBQ brisket I've ever had. I've been to the County Line in Austin, and this is just as good, if not better. No kidding. The brisket is incredibly tender, and the bark is excellent. The potato salad is interesting and very tasty. The baked beans could use a bit less brown sugar and more paprika along with some lemon zest. Overall, this place is outstanding.

The grill is fantastic. The ambience has a lot to wish, but this is basically a drive thru, so that I alone value on taste. We had two Buckle Busters for three to share and had leftovers. We would have been fine with one for three for a reasonable lunch. The bride, ribs and pulled pigs were fantastic. The sausage was OK. All were well flavored and the sauce was excellent. Next time, depending on the mood, I will go with brisket, pork pulled and ribs in this order. From the sides I loved the claw. They have picnic tables, a Porta pots and washing station. How not great in ambience.

As for the sauce, great BBQ sauce should be smoky, slightly sweet, with a hint of spice and a tangy kick. Unfortunately, this sauce tasted store-bought—thick, syrupy, and lacking any depth of flavor, reminiscent more of fancy ketchup than a quality BBQ sauce. Many guests raved about the potato salad, but to us, it was bland and unremarkable. The BBQ beans, on the other hand, were a disappointment; they had an odd taste that reminded us of hand sanitizer, making them inedible—we ended up tossing them out. I'm genuinely regretful that I chose to stop here off of I-5. I don't enjoy leaving negative reviews, but I feel it's important to be honest. View menu

We discovered this restaurant while traveling from Washington to California. We were craving a meal but wanted to avoid fast food. The positive reviews caught our attention, so we decided to give it a try. We're so glad we did! The brisket was outstanding! It was a bit tricky to eat as a sandwich, so we ended up using our forks and enjoying the bread on the side. The potato salad was tasty, although it had a touch more mustard than I'm used to, but I still enjoyed it. The coleslaw was great as well—not too sweet and not too tangy. The brisket itself was tender, juicy, and packed with smoky flavor! We look forward to stopping by again on our next trip through the area. They also have a lovely...

I called ahead to try and just order to find out it must be over $100. It was our first time here and didn't know it was so small and had a walk on the street. It was really good BBQ. We did the Buckle Buster and shared it and it was enough for 2 people. The ribs were tender from the bone, they were from the sausage, so we still have a few ribs. I think the chicken and the shredded pig was just okay. That was better for me. The brisket was good, but it was better. The pages were only pages. Corn was Bland, potato salad was al dente and no spices. The Cole Slav and baked beans were run by the mill and nothing special. It was a good meal and would go back, but there was nothing spectacular for...

"We had requested the rounded corner booth in the main dining room and arrived 20 minutes early, planning to enjoy a cocktail at the bar. But instead, we were seated at a booth right next to our preferred one. A couple finished their meal shortly after we sat down, well before our 6:30 reservation. We ordered a Beefeater gin and tonic and a very dry Beefeater martini. Both drinks had an unusual, perfume-like scent that was quite off-putting. My wife sent her drink back, and I decided to switch to a Bombay martini, but the same strange floral fragrance persisted. I regularly enjoy Beefeater and Bombay dry martinis and have never experienced this odd aftertaste before. For my main course, the Duck and Porcini confit ragu had hardly any duck in it. There were only a few shreds of duck meat hidden in the tagliatelle, but no substantial pieces. My wife’s Pesto and Shrimp dish arrived swimming in a broth. While this might be a traditional way to serve it, there was no mention of broth on the menu. She had expected the pesto to be coated on the pasta and oily, rather than soupy. As much as we have loved Capriccio over the past three decades, this experience was disappointing. We didn't even stay for dessert. We'll certainly return, but I hope to avoid writing another negative review. I usually don’t share my thoughts unless absolutely necessary, but I felt compelled to do so this time."
