"Excellent customer service, first and foremost. The food was hot and delicious, very satisfying. I just wish the portions were bigger or there was more for the price, which is why I’m giving it 4 stars. Restaurants in Baltimore tend to offer larger portions, making the cost feel more worthwhile. I hope MGM National Harbor starts serving larger portions too. Aside from that, I’ll definitely return to Pappas Crabcakes at MGM National Harbor and recommend this place. Their team is fantastic!"

Delicious! Easily the best crab cakes in the area. We tried the sandwich, and it was definitely worth the $25.

I was disappointed to find that the menu mainly consists of crab cakes without any variations. However, the prices are quite reasonable.

One of my go-to places for crab cakes without any hassle. I’m never disappointed when I stop by on my way home to Accokeek, MD. As you can see, this is the 8oz crab cake, made entirely of crab.

I have a fondness for genuine Maryland crabcakes, which are plentiful around the Bay Bridge, Baltimore, and Annapolis. Unfortunately, the crabcake I tried here was quite bland. It didn't leave a strong impression, but at least I can say I made the trip. On a positive note, the young woman at the cash register was absolutely charming! View menu

Amazing fish options and a nice surprise for great food in a food court. Great food and wonderful, friendly staff. Settled on the fish and chips, $18.99. Lightly breaded huge piece of fish and great steak like fries. Had leftovers for breakfast thenext day and it was just as good. Shout-out to Willie for being so friendly and willing to answer questions. Looking forwardto returning.

Excellent customer first of all....The food was hot and tasty, very good. I wanted more or larger portions for money. That why 4 stars. The restaurants in Baltimore do serve large portions, but for the money it makes it worth it. I wish MGM National Harborhad large portions, too. Other than that I will revisit MGM National Harbor Pappa's as well as recommend this spot. Their team isthe bomb!

I was pleasantly surprised by the amazing selection of fish at this food court! The food was outstanding, and the staff were incredibly friendly. I chose the fish and chips, which were priced at $18.99. It included a large piece of lightly breaded fish and tasty steak-style fries. I even had leftovers for breakfast the next day, and they were just as delicious. A special thanks to Willie for being so kind and helpful with my questions. I can't wait to return! View menu

This place is NOT by any means budget friendly, however, it is to be expected when you visit the MGM! I paid $34 for one plate. I ordered the Crab Cake plate and the waiter asked if I?d like to upgrade the fries to the crab fries (my initial thought), so I said of course. We waited about 5 mins for our food and we ate it there. EVERYTHING was delicious! The sauce on the crab fries was the runner star of the plate standing next to the amazingly tasting crab ball! I?d

This place doesn't seem like it would have the best crabcakes a native Marylander could get, but it's surprisingly true. The chunks of jumbo lump crab are mysteriously held together with less filler or binder than seems possible. Taste is excellent, price is reasonable (20 for sandwich on a wonderful soft brioche bun, not too heavily seasoned old bay fries, sauce, tomato/lettuce and a little delicious coleslaw) and they have several good beers to choose from. Don't know if

"This place really helped me adjust. I later learned that people gravitate towards certain bars, and I found my favorites, especially those with live music like Birchmere, Black Cat, 9:30 Club, Lincoln, Capital One Arena, and even the now-closed O'Shaughnessy's and Rock & Roll Hotel. One of my most memorable experiences was running into Rory Sheridan on one of my first visits. He was launching his DC music campaign back then and was part of Loud Boyz. We chatted a few times, and I even caught up with some old classmates. Another highlight was when I heard about a “reunion” night before Thanksgiving, and I decided to crash it. There were moments where people could be unkind or I felt out of place, but I was given some guidance on where I would fit in better, without the unnecessary drama. Being in Old Town, I was familiar with nearby schools like West Potomac, Mount Vernon, and Bishop Ireton. During my visits, I would often take an Alexandria cab or use Metro Access, being discreet about my disability since I felt embarrassed at times. Being a regular meant navigating the tourist scene, and there were people who seemed territorial about the place, but I ended up doing quite well when I sold my house. Good times continued with events like watching RG3 play for the Redskins or meetups organized by JT. I enjoyed New Year’s celebrations and weekend outings. I also frequented other establishments like Flying Fish before it closed, and O'Shaughnessy's before I decided to stop drinking. This is a sports bar located near a bicycle shop, close to the Ben & Jerry's I used to work at, along with many other walkable bars for bar hopping, like Union Street Pub and Fish Market. It can be a great place to have fun, but with the good comes some downsides. Overall, I felt well-hosted and respected here, despite some things I was not initially aware of or didn’t want to uncover."
