"Started the new year with dim sum at Paramount Superstars. Arrived around 11am and plenty of tables available, but tables started filling up around noon. Took a while for our orders to arrive. Some of our items: shrimp and chive dumplings (wrapper too soft and whole thing broke apart when picking up, would've liked more chives); steamed tripe (hubs likes this one with the sauce on the side); salt and pepper tofu (arrived hot and perfectly salty); Chinese donut rice roll (ok but donut wasn't hot so it was kinda hard); Shanghai dumplings (wrapper too thick and not soupy on the inside); green tea Mochi (liked that they were warm when they arrived, not too sweet and good way to end meal). Positives restaurant is clean and plenty of tables without feeling cramped. Negatives some items kinda pricey and tea is $1.50/person."

Mediocre dim sum at reasonable prices. Limited choices. Carts. Acceptable, but not great service.

Karaoke on Sundays?! Yes, please! The food was great, the waitstaff was friendly, and it's an ideal spot for large groups.

This is one of the best dim sum restaurants I've visited. The service was excellent, and the food was outstanding. My friends, family, and I had a wonderful birthday dinner here. It's a lovely place with music and karaoke, making it even more enjoyable.

The service was excellent, and the food was great as well. They offered all the classic dim sum dishes, and everything was delicious. My only issue is that they automatically include gratuity on the bill. I prefer to have the option to decide how much to tip based on the service I receive, rather than having it predetermined.

Was there for dinner and food was not good at all. The tables were bunched together and was crowded and it was super noisy. They need to improve in food quality and taste. 1) soup was cold when it was brought to the table..and it was bland 2) other dishes were also just warm when brought to the table 3) food quality was bad. The shrimp and seafood I ordered was not fresh. View menu

great eating, but note that Sunday is karaoke night. on the menu there is a good selection of delicious dishes (spiciously north and not as a spicy farewell), and eating out quite quickly. we usually ordered seafood, which was very good. our surprise was in the evening with karaoke something to eat, which we did not expect. so if they are looking for entertainment during eating, that is the place!

The waitress and manager both refused to accept the Restaurant.com certificate, stating that the restaurant is under new management. If that's the case, shouldn't they remove their listing from Restaurant.com, which is still active, or honor the certificate? Additionally, they automatically add a 15% service charge to the bill, which I don't mind. However, when the waitress presented the bill, she seemed to imply that I should add extra tips on top of the service charge. I appreciated the manager's clarification that tips were already included when I questioned him about it. Unfortunately, these two experiences have left a negative impression on me.

"Earlier this year Salty 's was featured in one of the top 100 places to eat in the Bay Area in 2022, and after trying it a couple times, it 's easy to see why. Quality and flavor, great customer service, it checks all those boxes. I occasionally visit the 24 hour fitness on Van Ness, and Salty 's happens to be just few short blocks away which makes it perfect when I 'm looking for a post-workout sandwich. And for those that know me, I love me my sandwiches. On my latest visit, I decided to go with the 'Glorious B sandwich, which come with turkey, bacon, avocado, pepper jack, veggies, and garlic mayo. The blend of flavors and high quality of the turkey is no wonder it 's at the very top of the menu list. It 's one of those sandwiches, that you can bring to park and not need a ton of napkins to get through. It was well put together, with the ratio of all the ingredients matching well. Nothing overpowering, just sandwich perfection. The size of the sandwich I thought was the perfect size for my appetite. As I 've gotten older I can 't put down as much food as I used to, and after one-half I knew I could 've stopped eating, be content, saved the rest for later. But of course I ate the whole thing and nothing sounds better than taking a quick power nap right after. I love that their menu has so many different sandwich combinations, so definitely take time to check their menu before calling-in/walking-in to order because it 'll definitely save you some time. On my latest visit, I was in and out in 10 minutes. Definitely towards the top of my list of sandwiches in this part of town!"
