"I cannot say enough about the food and service at Sweet Savory Cafe Bakery. The food is freshly prepared, pastries baked daily, and every offering has a unique inspiration. You will find offerings here combine European and Latin styles. I had the albóndiga soup, beef empanada, and the watermelon juice for dine-in. The empanada was flaky, warm, and so nice to eat with the salsa. The soup was really light and the meatball was very generously portioned. Watermelon juice was full of pulp and a few herbs, sweet and refreshing. What really sealed the deal was Hatie and the Staff's service. I felt so well taken care of, the whole experience was like dining in at a close family members home back in my home country. As soon as I got home I inhaled my pineapple coconut scone. It's safe to say I'm definitely coming back."

"This used to be our favorite spot to visit whenever we were in town. Both of us grew up in La Verne and have been dining here for 30 years. However, we’ve noticed that it hasn’t been quite up to par during our recent visits; it just doesn’t feel the same anymore. The service remains outstanding, and our latest visit was an improvement, but I truly hope it can return to its former greatness!"

"I'm Thai and I'm typically picky when it comes to eating out at Thai restaurants just because it's always a hit or a miss. The service was great but the food was... meh. My bother ordered the satay and it was chewy and was paired with rice. Satay normally will come with sticky rice or toast and pb sauce. I ordered the pad se ew and I always judge off of what type of broccoli they use. They used regular broccoli. I'll give the benefit of the the doubt because maybe they ran out of the Chinese broccoli. All it all the pad se ew was bland and oily. I wouldn't say I wouldn't come here. Maybe it was just an off day for them."

"I ordered chicken briyani and it was the worst one that I ever had. Instead of making a real biryani they add all FROZEN vegetables to my CHICKEN biryani and threw some pieces of chicken in there. The rice were sticking to each other. No biryani flavor at all. Upon seeing reviews now…I see only American people are praising this restaurant’s food bcz may be they actually don’t know how these Nepalese or Indian food should be. All the reviews I see from Indian people are BAD. If you want to try anything Indian, please don’t waste your money or time for this restaurant."
