"This is likely the worst BBQ I have had in the 21st century. Prine’s used to serve outstanding BBQ. Not anymore. First and foremost, you have to order from your car. You find that out when you walk up to the front door where the menu is posted. Unless you are graced with clairvoyance you will need to order from the front door. In the heat. Or the cold, take your pick. Lazy and poor customer service. The meat lacks flavor and the ribs we ordered came with a chunk that was inedible. That I paid for. The sauce was watery and cold. Now let’s talk about the beans, potato salad, and cole slaw. You know, the normal sides one gets with a family pack. Well, there are none. Bottom line is that if I had to choose between this BBQ and no BBQ at all, I would choose the latter. It is that bad."

I am not one to leave reviews, but I have to say that this restaurant belongs on the Food Network or some other major culinary platform. The food is exceptional and worth the recognition.

I have tried many dishes, but the Pimento cheese here is absolutely delicious! The cozy family-owned barbecue restaurant has a great atmosphere. Don't come here expecting fancy plates. It may not be fancy, but it is definitely tasty.

Never disappointed with the BBQ sausage sandwich with relish and onions. Banana pudding for dessert. One of my favorite places to have BBQ. This place has been a rock in the local food industry for decades, family owned and operated. View menu

This isn't a sit down kind of BBQ joint, but for a quick lunch it's very good. They have their own style when it comes to the sauce and potato salad both are good. And the brisket and ribs were also fairly decent. The chopped sandwich will keep me coming though it's easily the best thing on the menu.

best bbq in Texas imo! family has been heard for decades. all is own of the third generation and is proud of its craft. no chic facilthi. don't spend bucking money advertising to lure you. makes great bbq with all fixins. cook and they will come! it is worth leaving the time to leave the beaten away and go there today, they will not regret!
