"I thoroughly enjoyed the dumplings here. Really good! The lamb skewers were also incredibly delicious, and the service was quick and efficient. I particularly enjoyed dipping the skewers and dumplings in my own dishes of hot soy and rice vinegar.A few points of constructive criticism I have to mention. The price of the food was quite high considering the rushed nature of our dining experience. Despite the popularity and busyness of the place, I would have appreciated a little more time to sip my Tsing Tao beer before our table was inundated with plates and baskets. The waiter explained that everything had to come out quickly for a reason that wasn't entirely clear to me. It was only 8pm on a Thursday night and there didn't seem to be a line of people waiting for tables.Overall, the food was awesome, but I can't help but feel that a mere half hour more given to our party to digest and savour the delicious dishes would have warranted a perfect 5-star rating instead of a 4."

This is a MUST in Chinatown. The dumplings here are the best In all of Illinois. We come here once or twice a week sometimes. The owner is usually there and he is very friendly and very nice. The service is always great and the food is always perfect. I am always satisfied here.Food: 5/5

Delicious juicy and very thin dough dumpling place. Choose from Top 10 picks(at their menu) though. We tried most of them, beef ones are the best, then comes the lamb and then the chicken. Among all, one of thr signature dumplings(black truffle+beef) might be my favorite.Minimum Order of 12 pieces from one type. No mix and match of different dumplings. Practical togo box. View menu

Host was on point with wait time. We were seated and knew what to order. Food came out fast and it was piping hot. Was it worth the wait? Yes and no. The shrimp pork leek was the best. Flavorful and soup was delicious. The beef and onion was okay. The pork and cabbage was okay as well. I am happy to have tried it. I am not sure I’ll make the drive back and crave it in the future.

We waited for over an hour to be seated but were told 20 minutes... Once seated, we ordered 3 sets of dumplings... The veggie dumplings were the best! They were out of some of the options. Service was okay... as it was crowded. Not sure if the price and the wait were worth it... This place was recommended as a must-do when visiting Chinatown.Vegetarian options: Several tasy veggie dumplings to choose from

I’ve always heard about this restaurant and honestly I regret not coming sooner, the dumplings were delicious! My favorite were the Lamb and Coriander steamed dumplings ? the tea was also very tasty ?. The servers were friendly and very attentive, they always made sure we had what we needed and went above and beyond. The restaurant ambiance was busy and had to wait for a table but honestly it was worth the wait. I highly recommend. ?? View menu

Good place for dumplings, as they were flavorful and well cooked, but I found them to be quite pricey with each steamed basket of dumplings costing $16-20. The ambiance is good, but the experience did feel a little rushed as the servers hovered toquickly take our order. There were also a lot of items on the menu that were out of stock or not in season , yet they werestill included in the online menu. It would be nice to have these removed or a more up-to-date menu so customers don 't have toguess at what items are still available. On a high note, they did offer some good chili oil, vinegar, and soy sauce fordipping.

"Tempesta is arguably one of the best sandwich shops in the city. They make a lot of their meats in house and use high quality ingredients so you know you’re getting the good stuff. Not only can you get a great sandwich, you can purchase most of their meats to go as well as other small artisanal grocery items. I have tried almost every sandwich they have on the menu but my top two choices would be the #1 The Dante and the #2 Yo! Vincenzo! The Dante is their version of a classic Italian sandwich but a bit on the spicier side. The Yo Vincenzo is a chicken parm and I personally think it’s the best chicken parm sandwich in the city. The chicken is perfectly crispy, and they use just the right amount of sauce where it doesn’t get soggy. Both of these sandwiches come on their fresh baguette which helps set them apart from other sandwich spots in Chicago just because of how good it is. The B Franklin is also a great option, and if you’re starving get the Wagyu Pastrami but be warned it is a very heavy sandwich because of that Wagyu. The last pro tip I’ll add in here is order your sandwich ahead of time if you’re doing takeout. This is a very popular spot and is always busy during the lunch rush so if you wait to order until you arrive you may need to wait for 10-15 minutes. That should speak to how good this place is because it’s in such high demand, so if you’re in Chicago make sure you stop in!"
