"Blech is honestly being polite. The ONLY thing with any ACTUAL flavor was the Guasacaca/cilantro sauce and the natural light flavor of guava in the guava juice. To start the guava juice (which they said they make themselves) was an 8-12 oz glass with90% ice= 2-3 oz actual juice at most. For that amount of actual liquid $3 with inflation is okish but $4.50 is nothing less thanexcessively expensive. The arepa pabellon is small and would be expensive at $9 with inflation. Again $13 is excessivelyexpensive. Shredded beef, NONEXISTENT black beans, Sliced sweet plantains (with no sweetness) and yummy Venezuelan white cheese(which came on the side and was MAYBE 2.5 grams of cheese). Served with a side of plantain chips. There where no black beans atall, so little cheese it was an actual joke, the sweet plantains tasted tasteless with less than zero sweetness and theshredded beef was maybe 4 oz at most. Even the arepa had no flavor. To be honest if it weren 't for the service and extremelypolite and friendly waitress this is actually a 1 star review. ITS CALLED SALT people and costs almost nothing. ZERO seasoningAT ALL WHATSOEVER!!! I 've actually had plain bread no butter with more flavor ????."

Fantastic staff and welcoming service. The food was exceptional. There was a bit of a wait, but we didn't mind at all because it was definitely worth it.

While in the area for a hockey tournament, we stopped for lunch at Que Chevere! It was the best lunch experience with incredible food! None of us had tried Venezuelan cuisine before, and we were absolutely blown away!

This was the first time I had visited Que Chevere but it won't be the last. The staff were friendly and service was quick. I had an old fashioned and Que Chevere Pepito. The pepito was fabulous, it as a toasted French bread with steak, chicken, andbacon. I recommend Que Chevere to anyone looking for high quality food when visiting downtown Mesa.

I had an absolutely incredible experience at this restaurant! The meal was truly unique and one-of-a-kind, featuring authentic Venezuelan dishes that impressed with their quality and atmosphere. Be sure to ask for Vito and try his Pepito—it's the best you'll ever have! Also, Alejandra and Lised provide excellent customer service. Highly recommended! View menu

This was my first visit to Que Chevere, but it definitely won't be my last. The staff were friendly, and the service was prompt. I ordered an Old Fashioned and the Que Chevere Pepito. The pepito was fantastic—it's a toasted French roll filled with steak, chicken, and bacon. I highly recommend Que Chevere to anyone seeking high-quality food in downtown Mesa.

A restaurant with excellent service and great food!! I have always supported local, and this restaurant is one of the reasons that I do. It's a hidden gem located in Downtown Mesa. Make sure you add the Venezuelan cheese on anything the menu shows as anadd-on. You will NOT be disappointed! I have wanted to eat here for the longest time and finally got to enjoy it today.

The food here was absolutely fantastic. We sampled a variety of dishes and were pleased with each one. A delightful surprise was the cheese sticks appetizer; they were the best I've ever tasted. The service was exceptional as well. Our waitress was incredibly patient and answered all our questions since it was our first time trying this type of cuisine. We will definitely return! View menu

Be sure to add the Venezuelan cheese to any dish you order from the menu—it's a must and you won’t regret it! I've been eager to dine here for quite some time, and I finally had the chance to enjoy it today.

The experience at Que Chevere was honestly disappointing. The only item that had any real flavor was the Guasacaca/cilantro sauce and the subtle guava taste in the guava juice. To start, the guava juice, which they claim is homemade, came in an 8-12 oz glass but was filled with 90% ice, leaving only 2-3 oz of actual juice. While $3 would be reasonable given inflation, charging $4.50 feels excessively high. The arepa pabellon was small; even at $9 with inflation, it would still be considered pricey, but the $13 price tag is just too much. It included shredded beef, barely any black beans, tasteless sweet plantains, and a tiny side of Venezuelan white cheese—maybe 2.5 grams at best. It came...
