"This was a really nice restaurant, however it was way over priced. Was it a good steak? YES,. Was the steak worth $80.00, not at all. I have had Ribeye just as good for $50-60. Was the Beef Wellington good? Yes, but the wellington I had on my Carnival Cruise (Mardi Gras) in June was so much better. For that one, I would pay $70, not for this one. Was the bread good? It was ok, but 4 rolls for 7 bucks? Especially when you need a ton of better to make it YUMMY. Texas Roadhouse, Red Lobster and Longhorn serves better tasting bread and it is free. The Apps (Mac, potatoes, creamed collards) I can not even speak about. Not worth my time... at all. If I ever dined there again (and it would have to be because someone gave me a gift card), I would just get the steak. What I can say was the service was excellent and the complimentary dessert as you leave was very nice touch. (and it was very tasty) I say, if you have the money, and you want a really good steak with a good atmosphere and service and you live in Raleigh, then this is your place to go. But if you are celebrating your birthday, there are MANY other places you can go where at least they will truly value you and show you they are happy you chose them for your celebration."

"Great place. Owned by Trophy Brewing. You can hit their 12 taps of rotating beer or get something from the fridge. The atmosphere is really nice. I would think this place would appeal to tourists to try many different kinds of NC beer."

"my partner and I had a wonderful night at plates! the atmosphere was perfect for talks while she was alive enough to create a beautiful energy in the room. the service was fantastic. we have both nutritional restrictions (he has zöliakie) and needed accommodation. our server was very knowledgeable and the cook offered dishes modifications so we could have our first choices from the menu. After all, it was wonderful to eat. I had the market salad dressed with salmon and maple vinaigrette and it was so artistically joined together that the combination of aromen for this simple dish made irking the unforgettable dishes (determined salad) I ever eaten. my partner had a seasonal mushroom curry and loved it. we will definitely be back too long, hopefully, while the braided short ribs are still on the menu!"

"My husband and I went on New Years Eve and had a great meal! We tried their meatball special of the evening which happened to be a pizza meatball and we also tried the buffalo chicken meatballs. You can customize your meal to whatever your heart desires meat, sauce, cheese, and whatever you want the meatball served over (different pastas, veggies, risotto, mac cheese). Our server was friendly, attentive, and took great care of us. We were about minutes early for our reservation and they got us right in when we arrived. They have an impressive list of whiskey, scotch, and craft beer too. I'd highly recommend going here for a casual date night on the more affordable side. :"
