"A bit pricey but everything tastes great while looking out at a million dollar view. The lobster pasta is a $37 dish but the taste justifies the cost. Same goes for the lamb appetizer. Decent fried calamari. Really enjoyed the steak dip and chips in a mini pan even the pepperoni and sausage pizza wasn't bad. All served with a back drop of an amazing view of the ocean. I do wish they would top off your ice tea or the kid's soda without a double charge. You feel like you're getting nickle and dimed when you spend $40 on a dish but have to pay $3 extra for every drink refill. Despite this little annoying practice, I really enjoyed my experience here."

"Went to sit at the bar outside ,it was a beautiful night. We asked for menus, we asked to order we had to ask for a set up napkin/ flatware to eat our food. Didn't give us any small plates or anything. Wouldn't stop me from going again it's so beautiful to sit outside there the food was delicious we had soup- clam chowder was fantastic , brussel sprouts delish and I had tuna poke that was not in a bowl like I expected but it was absolutely delicious it had chips was kind of nachos with the tuna poke on the side. Was so good!"

"We recently stumbled upon this restaurant, and it has quickly become one of our favorites. Each time we go, we like to try something new. My personal favorite is the quesadilla, but during my last visit, I chose the empanadas along with two other new dishes, and they were amazing! The restaurant is now under new ownership, and you can really see their commitment to making sure every guest feels valued — it truly enhances the overall experience. We're definitely planning to return time and time again! While the prices for food and drinks are a bit on the higher side, the portion sizes are quite generous. Although the menu focuses on Hispanic and Latin American cuisine, the atmosphere is very inviting. I've been here during the previous ownership and remember waiting a long time for my drinks, but the service has definitely improved! Bring your family and friends; you won't be disappointed!"

"The restaurant was very spacious and had a nice view of the water from the outdoor dining area, but fair enough view from the indoor area. The bar area was very crowded, but everyone seemed fine with it. We had no reservations, but sat immediately and the waiter said hi and greeted us. We had about 4 different waiters/waxes while we were there seemed to be, since every time we told or demanded something from a waiter, the other waiter or helper was not aware of this. So we had to repeat. The drinks and the food was very tasteful, literally would have been perfect when the steak came out, it wouldn't be stuck by a bug maybe a fly in the sauce. The waitress or waitress should be aware of what they deliver to the table. Tacos were popular and Steak was okay. Sangria was delicious and the dessert 3 was so good! We got the bill with an amount and got another amount charged because one of the waiters forgot to add the dessert, now what if we had not had enough on this card; what I say is that we said the difference before we change the card. The inconvenience of service, I must give them a 4 fortunately did not give them a 3, which I had never to do to a restaurant. The boat trip you can take from a restaurant to another is super awesome; You can leave your car in one of the restaurants for free and in a boat convenient! We had steak, tacos, 3 leches dessert."

"I had an extremely disappointing experience at Canal Cafe today at around 4:30pm that I feel needs to be addressed. My family and I came in hoping for a nice couple drinks and some bites to eat but unfortunately, the service was appalling. Our waitress, with the blonde hair, was not only rude but seemed completely uninterested in providing any kind of hospitality. From the moment we walked in, she gave us nothing but attitude and appeared irritated that we were even there. She had blonde hair. It wasn 't even a busy time, so there was no excuse for the lack of attention and professionalism. To make matters worse, we noticed her whispering to the bartender and exchanging what seemed like dismissive comments about us. When we decided to leave, her response was a simple, Oh, okay, sorry, with no genuine remorse or concern for our experience. It was clear she didn 't care at all. This kind of behavior is completely unacceptable, especially when it’s locals like us who keep places like this busy during the slower winter months. It 's disheartening to be treated this way as a customer, and it 's something that needs to be addressed. I hope this review reaches a manager who can take the necessary steps to ensure that future guests don 't have to deal with such poor service. Sadly, this experience has made us hesitant to return, and I would not recommend this place to others unless there 's a change in the way customers are treated."
