"we had often enlisted ourselves at the Kirkwood passage of ranoush, loved it and were so sad that it was closed. this was our first visit in the position the loop. the whole place seems tired. it felt corrupt and neglected. the service was very slow and drinks orders, although again to us, came twice wrong. to make this, they gave us twice the appetizers and desserts that went open to the drop because we couldn't eat so much.) that was subpar. we ordered all the favorites we have always ordered in kirkwood and none were the same. the only exception was the hummus and the tabouleh. it was very disappointing. we are not coming back."

it was a good restaurant that was decent to eat, I had better middle-easts. the server was a nice person, but was too preoccupied and never brought our tee and messed up our order for my daughter.

so amazing! we have the vegetarian plate for two, and it was so good that we have ordered another to go! dessert and coffee to complete it! wonderful service and great atmosphere! will be absolutely back when we are in st. louis!

It was very noisy but other than that, it was wonderful! We weren't rushed; everything came out so fast and was absolutely delicious; and they were not chintzy on the hot, fresh pita that they happily kept bringing out (it is REALLY good). had a wonderful dinner here shared the vegetarian plate with a friend and asked that it be vegan. it was wonderful! and much! we both were very full. hummus falafel were brilliant, my favorite was a green salad with garlic and lemon just fabulous! price is great and the service is also! there is so much on the menu that it is hard to choose from so that I felt that the mix was the best choice;

first I can't believe I didn't write this review years ago! when I was vegan almost a decade ago, ranoush was one of my first safe oasis. (it had another name until about 2011-2012 or so. I suggest the vegetarian plate. they will veganize the vegetarian plate on request. I love the lemony **** to her hummus. the falafel is always tasteful and perfectly crisp on the outside, savory on the inside. I always get the Arabic pommes and also got the Arabic garlic bread, but the Arabic brot is no longer vegan. Vegan elements are clearly marked on the menu, like the vegetarian elements. it is a great option for stl vegans!
