"Wow, they have a great location after events at Howelsen, but unfortunately their bartender/manager who calls himself Benjamin was very aggressive towards another party. It made us feel uncomfortable. Not a welcoming atmosphere, seemed the staff was stressed to serve instead of happy to serve. "Marcia and Joe’s is the definition of a hidden gem. Tucked into the back of The Press bar on Lincoln Ave are two true islanders making Jamaican food so bold and flavorful that it transported me, even while fitting right into the eclectic bar food culture that has been a part of Steamboat since I went to high school here, in the 90s. I am so glad I found this amazing food!As I write this, COVID is surging and businesses may have to lock down again. Marcia (Mar-see-ah, not Marsh-ah) greeted me with worried eyes as I walked in to the empty bar at opening time, but she followed with an easy laugh and she and Joe have a warm nature. You must support this business! This is perfect take out food! The delicious, spicy chicken, tangy chop salad, and fruity rice will make a perfect take out meal. The festivals, a fry bread that’s not unlike a donut, go with everything, as Marcia rightly advised. What a terrific place. Don’t let it slip away! Call ahead! Cater a Thanksgiving! Buy yourself Jerk for your socially distanced Christmas! This place is too good!"

"Visited on 9/10/22. When we arrived it was a little busy downstairs so we went to check out the rooftop patio. We basically got the patio to ourselves on a Saturday night. The bartending staff was great at helping us make our selections of their largevariety of beers on tap. I am an IPA fan and their selection was excellent. There were also plenty of other varieties tosatisfy everyone in our group. Storm peak was the perfect ending to a day in Steamboat !"

"As Steamboat residents, Aurum is one of our favorite restaurants in town. The food is phenomenal, from the appies like Korean Fried Chicken and duck wings to the entrees like braised short ribs and steaks. And don't miss their house rolls. During the summer months, you cannot beat Aurum's waterfront garden patio on the Yampa River. The service and staff are excellent they organized a dinner for 16 of our closest friends for my wife's milestone birthday that everyone raved as one of the highlights of the week. Reservations are a MUST during busy times especially ski season."

"I friend back home recommended this place. We made reservations for a casual Christmas dinner. We had an awesome 2 top in the front window with all the Lincoln Ave decorations lit up! Great service and food, and we so appreciated it on Christmas after a day of skiing! Italian cream sodas were the bomb, the wedge salad and bread was a great start, our entrees were delicious, and we had coffee and a fudge brownie sundae for dessert. What a wonderful Christmas Dinner!! Thank you!"
