"Being my 1st time visiting, the restaurant was pretty packed when we arrived. I thought for sure this place would be fantastic. The Server greeted us with a smile and placed our order. He brought out some cheesy bread along with our drinks. I ordered a bandeja paisa along with beef empanadas. The empanadas and cheesy bread were delicious along with the chimichurri sauce. My plate arrived looking and smelling delicious but unfortunately, I found the beans and rice too bland.. zero flavors despite all the ingredients visible. The rest of the dish was just ok. The meat was a little tough but the sausage balanced the plate. I think I'll skip on this plate and try something else next time."

Love the place but they need to have more staff. We waited for a very long time for our order to be taken, to be served, and then to pay. However, that won't keep us from going. Love the food and the music. Please have more of your delicious Pan de queso!!Food: 5/5

The food was fantastic, and although the service was a bit slow, it gave me the chance to unwind and savor my meal. The prices are excellent! I'm always on the lookout for a great Colombian restaurant, and this has become my favorite spot in the Houston area. Food rating: 5/5. View menu

The customer service and bread are great! I would definitely recommend going to Risaladas if you are looking for authentic Colombian bread and coffee the workers are also very friendly and welcoming! ?Kid-friendliness: The atmosphere is very warm and joyful for kids to eat and spend time with their parents!

If you're looking for some of the best pandebonos and empanadas in town, this is the place to visit. As a Colombian with family who has owned popular restaurants in Houston, I can confidently say it’s worth the trip. It's a bit of a drive, but I find myself coming here about 85% of the time when I'm craving these two beloved dishes. Food: 5/5.

Terrible service if you don't speak Spanish! One waitress literally stopped taking our order in the middle of us ordering and never came back. Not even when we tried to flag them down and made eye contact. We had another party join us for lunch maybe 20 min later who did speak Spanish and suddenly we got service again. The food is really good, though. Nice place to visit with your family ?, friends etc ... the bakery is great ; but I believe it should have more help extra employees working at from , I stay in line just to buy few things for 15 minutes !! There were only 5 people in line...I also ordered some stuff and I got home they forgot to put inside my bag , so suggest check your goods before you live the place.

The positives: The flavor is incredible—it truly tastes like home! The prices are very fair and competitive, and the service makes you feel like you’re in Colombia, thanks to the wonderful attitude and kindness of the staff. Areas for improvement: The tables, chairs, and furniture in general need some maintenance. Additionally, it would be great to see more options for kids on the menu.

"Food good. Location good. Service good. BUT, the hidden charges REALLY ruined an otherwise nice experience. Example: HH menu lists Martinis as a $3 upcharge to the $7 base charge. Fair enough. Bombay is a listed alcohol; requested. When the bill was returned I was charged for a Bombay Sapphire which is not on the HH list. Charge? $11 $3. I asked for Bombay, not Bombay Sapphire. Waiter: Oh, let me look into that. AND, by the way Blue Cheese olives? Extra $1. REALLY? I 've NEVER paid extra for BC olives ANYWHERE. AND the confusing menus that a dish as including an extra sauce, [and I don 't recall the exact language but it made it seem that an additional items could be selected as well. Oops, there goes an extra $10.95. AND, the waiter recommending a twice-baked potato. Bah, boom, another $5.95. [which in fairness is disclosed on the menu in a different location, but waiter made it sound as if it was a no-charge option on the surf and turf. AND the split plate charge which I don 't think was disclosed on the menu. Ding, ding, extra $3.00. Was this a waiter, who was overly up-selling or restaurant deception? Don 't know. As I said, the food WAS good. AND, the ambience [at least in the bar area, stay away of the hotel-ballroom-like main dining area was nice. Just beware the nickel and dime charges that the waiter won 't be disclosing to you."
