"We visited Robs today for dinner , this isn't our first time here , we come here quite often. However today is my last day , to start off the waitress Annie (who happens to be the owners niece thank to the grapevine of several other employees) is the rudest coldest waitress we have ever experienced, first she walks off in the middle of you talking , thanking or trying to order from her. She never once asked us if we wanted refills , however asked the tables around us 3-4 times. It took 29 minutes for garlic toast (because she never added it since she walked off while we were asking for it). We ordered a meal to go for our daughter and ordered a loaded baked potato, she says sweet potato and we told her *no a loaded baked potato. We get home and no joke it was a sweet potato (get this ...with cheddar cheese and bacon, sour cream and butter) on a Sweet potato ‍. Now to the dinner part of this , the beans were cold, the fries were cold as was the table in front is us. The best part of our meal were the appetizers. Annie finally gives us a to go refill except it's not even a full cup . From hearing others , apparently this particular waitress gets a lot of complaints and is still there. You lost a customer that frequents there just because of your waitress. The other waiters, waitresses , staff are great. Annie however is ruining your business. Understand family and all , but you're running a customer service business, shouldn't we come first at your place of business? So so super disappointed! We loved eating here , but this ended that."

Everything except the corn nuggets, bread, and sweet potatoes tasted stale and dry. I won’t be returning. The service was slow, and there was only one server on duty. While I understand that it's becoming the norm at many restaurants to have limited staff, I won’t complain about that. However, it’s disappointing that the food seemed old.

Here’s my candid take: I was taken aback by the prices. I can’t say the food or service was poor, nor was the place unclean. They feature well-known brands, but the sticker shock was significant. I understand that this might be due to the current economic situation. At lunchtime, I ordered a pulled pork plate with a side of coleslaw for $14.99. I even took a picture of my meal. View menu

We had our entire family flown to Miami to have an 80th birthday party for my mother. Rob's family BBQ showed out and showed up for our event the catering was awesome. They picked up the food which was prepared on time and had enough utensils and transportation amenities to go with it. Thank you so very much to the entire team for making my mom's 80th birthday a grand hit with great food.

I ordered a takeout order rib meal for 2 and added a side of Mac and cheese, payed $50. Order consisted of 6 pieces of ribs, 1 sweet potato, 1 container of coleslaw and 1 of beans I guess we were supposed to share the potato) taste was mediocre on all. Cashiers were pleasant enough and everything was ready in about 15 minutes ??. I don't think I'll be returning, I'm sorry but I was not impressed with any of it.

This was our first experience with Rob's and it will by no means be our last. We had everything from the chicken tender platter to the baby back ribs, the beef short ribs and the brisket. Collectively all we can say is outstanding. The ribs, both dry and wet, were falling off the bone, the brisket was butter and the short ribs, for me was the best I've ever had. And don't miss out on their wonderful sauces. So to the crew at Rob's in Davie we say thank you for being a great part of our Father's Day. View menu

Came for the spare rib special I always enjoyed for the past 8 years. Very disappointed in today's rendition of this plate. Price has risen from $9.99 to $14.99. Ribs are no longer tender or tasty. Previously, both cole slaw baked beans came with the special (M T), but now diners must choose between those sides. Waitress told me for a mere $1.50 I could get the missing side, but when she showed me the container's size, (just barely larger than a thimble), I opted out. Horrible butter/cinnamon topping for the sweet potato, which used to be very tasty. All in all, the only redeeming item on my plate was the piece of toast, no toast is worth $14.99.

The corn bread is likely a favorite among the family, and the butter that comes with it is quite good as well. The Brussels sprouts can vary depending on the chef; we had them perfectly cooked on one occasion and a bit overdone on another (they roast them here). The children's meals are a decent size for the price, and the turkey with a side of broccoli is a favorite, especially when paired with dessert. The Rob Deluxe Plate is plenty for two if you watch your portion sizes. The beans were fine, though I found them a bit too tomatoey for my taste. To be honest, the flavor and portion of the collar weren't worth the extra charge. The peach cobbler was extremely sweet and came in a generous po...

"Walk in and go to the sushi bar see the variety of fresh fish. Look around at what people are eating it is likely authentic Japanese food. Recently, I was in another Japanese style restaurant and the server had no idea what tomago or hamachi kama was. He was familiar with every tempura/cream cheese/mayo heavy roll they made, however. Imasa's menu offers both tempura/cream cheese/mayo and more authentic dishes too. They also offer some Chinese style dishes like sesame balls or dumplings. Their udon noodles with African lobster tail that tastes like the Chinese food of my childhood. We're hooked on that dish. You can make up your own dish and they'll gladly oblige. We took the house roll and replaced some of the ingredients. They did such a great job that when we go more often than we expected we order a couple of them, along with the other dishes. We have leftovers, but this is our typical delicious meal:Veggie rollsCooked salmon inside and outside a roll filled with avocado, asparagus, etc.Udon noodles with lobster tail2 pieces of nigiri we mix it up4 pieces of tomago(an order of sesame balls and more tomago to go!)We use the leftovers for the next meal and are happy to eat it! The service is spot on and you don't have to flag down a server. I love their willingness to accommodate us and their execution of flavorful dishes. Yes, we're planning on returning this weekend. When we were last there, they were preparing 2 huge boats of sushi and 6 smaller boats of sushi to deliver to a party. So I think the word is out their food is fresh and tasty!"
