"Corner restaurant on clybourn kitty corner from Barnes and noble . We were pleasantly welcomed and seated , early dinner around 5:45pm on Thursday. There was no one except the 3 of us and a lot of carry out order's.We ordered a whole bunch of stuff... salmon teriyaki, sushi, Thai green curry (spicy) which hit the spot absolutely delicious! and chicken Chicken pad Thai . The curry was so spicy we had to Order Thai iced tea , which calmed the mouth in a good way. We liked the curry so much got a to go order as well. I thought portion sizes were a tad bit small and the sushi could have been better. Overall a decent place for a quick meal."

We loved the sushi. It was absolutely delicious. The Rockstar Maki was amazing. Our only complaint, it was uncomfortably cold in the restaurant. Other than that, incredible.

Food was alright. My biggest concern is how unhygienic it is. The plates and cups they gave us were dirty. I asked for a Thai ice tea and it had a fruit fly in it. Sever brought me another one and it still had stuff in it. Made me not enjoy my meal after that. She didn’t even offer to remove the tea off my tab, I had to tell her to. View menu

My daughter and I were in the area and had been wanting Thai food for some time. We were excited to discover this restaurant, as the food was fantastic, fresh, and truly authentic. We ordered five appetizers and were amazed at how tasty they were. The hostess/server was welcoming and friendly, making us feel right at home. I even expressed my gratitude to the chef before departing. I am looking forward to returning for dinner next time, although I couldn't resist having the appetizers again for lunch.

"Tempesta is arguably one of the best sandwich shops in the city. They make a lot of their meats in house and use high quality ingredients so you know you’re getting the good stuff. Not only can you get a great sandwich, you can purchase most of their meats to go as well as other small artisanal grocery items. I have tried almost every sandwich they have on the menu but my top two choices would be the #1 The Dante and the #2 Yo! Vincenzo! The Dante is their version of a classic Italian sandwich but a bit on the spicier side. The Yo Vincenzo is a chicken parm and I personally think it’s the best chicken parm sandwich in the city. The chicken is perfectly crispy, and they use just the right amount of sauce where it doesn’t get soggy. Both of these sandwiches come on their fresh baguette which helps set them apart from other sandwich spots in Chicago just because of how good it is. The B Franklin is also a great option, and if you’re starving get the Wagyu Pastrami but be warned it is a very heavy sandwich because of that Wagyu. The last pro tip I’ll add in here is order your sandwich ahead of time if you’re doing takeout. This is a very popular spot and is always busy during the lunch rush so if you wait to order until you arrive you may need to wait for 10-15 minutes. That should speak to how good this place is because it’s in such high demand, so if you’re in Chicago make sure you stop in!"
