"Came here on a weekday at 5:30pm and it wasn’t busy. Service was attentive and quick. The dishes we ordered were reasonably priced for the portion sizes. A friend recommended the stir fried chive and jicama with squid and crispy fish. It was delicious, balanced in flavors.Peking pork chop here was good. The pieces are cut smaller than other restaurants but not fatty. I’ve been to restaurants where the pork chop is fatty. It’s hard to tell when it’s been battered, deep fried and covered in sauce. The menu selection was standard to most banquet style Chinese restaurants. This place is great for crowds because of their big tables. Perhaps the entrance way vibes and lack of street side windows don’t convey a hip or inviting atmosphere and so I’ve never stepped into this restaurant until a friend recommended it. I’d definitely go back."

It is one of the best dim sum restaurants in New York City. This one is in Chinatown. Very clean and good atmosphere! It can get very busy in the early afternoon! We got there early, so, no wait time at all. They have such good service!Food: 5/5

The dim sums are so yummy and the price is ok for the amount of food. There are aunties pushing carts where they say the name of the food and they would stamp on card to know what you get. The service are great as they remove the plates very fast and refill the teapot. View menu

Me and my mom stopped by this place. The workers here were very nice and welcoming to us. We were the only non asian people. The restaurant didn't have any seats available which is a good sign the food is good. So we got our food to go. The food was amazing. This was also our first time in China town. When we come back to New York we will back to this restaurant.

It's my regular dimsum place, on the weekends come as early as possible to avoid long wait line. They give you a number and they will call your number when there's spot available. Food always is fresh. Good services, friendly cart staff. They always are willing to help you get what you want even if they don't have the food in their cart. it gets busier later in the day.

Great food and try to seat in the middle room .We ordered a few dishes and they are well made better than congee village. I think they used to be busier before.Food is delicious and mostly local come for dinner. Dimsum can be a mix of tourist and local fans.Service can be a mix. Some waiter are rude and some can be nice. It helps to speak some Chinese. Usually not a fan of picture on menu but this can help here.Overall it’s loud and need time to ease in. View menu

Dining at Royal Seafood is like being transported to a dim sum hall in Hong Kong: large, boisterous and chaotic. The food is so good I make a periodic trek here. The variety is extensive, from the popular (dumplings, steamed buns and shumai) or the adventurous (chicken feet and tripe). My favorite is the bean curd roll. Prices are about a third less of dim sum uptown. This place is almost always crowded so try going off-peak especially if you’re in a big group.

We just happened to be on this street looking for that forever restaurant that my husband grew up eating with. But he couldn't find it on that windy and cold spring day when we first arrived New York City for spring break. So I yelped and found Royal seafood just across st of where we were wandering around. So I made the decision to come in. It was the best decision for n that day The dim sum are fresh and fast! Restaurant is relatively clean as an old school dim sum place. They still have the carts ladies walking around to ask if you would like anything on their carts! That was nostalgic and sweet! I will be back next time in NYC.
