"Great food, great service. We were seated immediately upon arriving for our reservation, greeted promptly and received our cocktails quickly. Courses came out perfectly timed despite ordering things together. The live piano music created a lovely ambiance and the food, as always was cooked perfectly."

"Being a very, very selective diner, I must say that the food was fantastic. Compliments to the chef's. The service/staff was professional/knowledgeable regarding the menus, efficient, welcoming and friendly. The facility is clean and had an unexpected European flair. "I planned a birthday dinner for my daughter's 15th birthday at this establishment. Called twice to make sure they could accommodate my party size and that the day and time were acceptable. (I called twice because I was told a manager would call, but they didn't so I called back 2 days later). I was assured that date and time were acceptable and that they wouldn't be able to sit all of us at the same table but they would have us in the same section of the restaurant. I was excited because it was going to be my first time at this establishment and I had heard great things. However, I received a phone call less than 48 hrs before my reservation time and was told by the assistant manager that they would not be able to guarantee that my party would be in the same section. So, I took the time to confirm the actual number of attendees (15 20 people) for the dinner and called back to inform them of this in hopes that they could work something out (due to this last minute notification) and was advised that my reservation had been canceled. I was also advised that if we decided to show up they would sit everyone, but we would run the risk of being spread out across the restaurant. I expressed my grievances about the last minute change and the fact that they were not willing to try to make any accommodations. As I stated, this was going to be my first time at Cajun Steamer and to have such a poor experience is extremely disheartening. I don't appreciate being treated as if we weren't going to be paying customers. The fact that my reservation was canceled without my consent and them not trying to provide a reasonable solution for the last minute change shows me that there is a lack of business acumen within their management team. I understand that they have a small space to work with, but their inability to accommodate my party should've been made known upfront not less than 48 hrs before my reservation. To lose a customer before they even have a chance to visit your establishment is truly sad indeed."

"We enjoyed our half-week brunch experience at Metro Diner! The atmosphere is true for the diner experience, although a bit more Americana than the retro vibe I had expected. Feels a little strange that it's in a strip ball, so it's a little banged, but all locals seem to know about it. Menu is a good mix of traditional favorites and a few offer a unique twist like lemon blueberry pancakes! There is also a decent selection of non-breakfast items (at least when we were there). Coffee was good, food was pretty fast hot, and service was friendly. In any case, would recommend and probably return."

"Cute place. Very popular at 7pm on a Saturday night. Although they were noticably understaffed, and there was a 30 minute wait; the staff were friendly, playful, yet still professional. Once seated, drinks were ordered. Several bar items were sold out or not available. Ordered their pickle chips and Lucky Cat Egg Rolls. They came out to the table in a reasonable amount of time. The pickle chips were fresh out of the fryer, but the egg rolls had been sitting for a while. Weren't impressed with either. The chili cheese dog entre was H U G E! The Pot Roast Sundae was also about 3x the size I expected. Both were fresh, and made from scratch. Both were very good. I would recommend either one. Only drawback is that I honestly expected the Pot Roast Sundae to be served in an ince cream Sundae glass, not plated. Live and learn, it was still d licious and a much larger portion than would fit in even the largest Sundae glass. The bill was reasonable for a made from scratch restaurant and the service was great, despite being understaffed. We left extra for the tip. Lots of fun toys decorating the place.
