"Salted sea is on my list to try a long time. with my sister in the city I decided to try. the ambiente and the service are beautiful. the menu looks diverse and good. but eating disappointed. we started with the grilled otopus and the petersnips. I enjoy oktopus, but her preparation was gummy and salty. the accompanying salate was beautiful, but too sharp to be edible. my sister has a super high spicy tolerance and she couldn't eat it. out entrees also looked good, but the seafood was not well prepared and on average best. the sides were not delivered either. Maybe we were our choices or maybe we were one night. our server was very attentive and I really wanted to like it. that's just one experience, so they take it for what it's worth."

Really great cocktails followed by really great food, all with friendly service. Highly recommended.

Great job accommodating my to-go dinner by making me a special fried halibut, bok choy and potatoes instead of the Cod.

Poor food and worse service. For example: Restaurants, please tell your customers WHAT YOU ARE OUT OF when you hand them the menus, not when they order.

we arrived at the restaurant and discovered a sign that the kitchen was closed because of a disturbance. no one contacted us in advance about the closure. we were disappointed. View menu

A nice location and nice ambience. The service was very good. The food however left a lot to be desired. I don't like my fish to taste fishy. Unfortunately, they won't get a chance to make another first impression.

I had eaten before, and I didn't care to come back, but my friend really wanted to try. once again it was a lack of culinary experience. the server was great. the fish is raised, not sure about the oysters, but we did not order them. will not go back. too many other great decisions in col city. pity.

very personalized experience with large service. the Sous cook came out to ask our opinion about the menu options! we have the mussels in the broth that was amazing, they should add it to the menu! the best scallop I had lived in all my life, and my colleagues also loved the steelhead. just what we wouldn't recommend. very cheap weinlist, would return every day if we could! This place is ok, but there are many better value seafood places in this price range in Seattle. The $18 fish and chips were fine but not great. The crab cakes and calamari were pretty good, but not amazing. The chowder lacked seasoning. The ambiance/decor seems pretty cool but then you realize there are giant TV screens above the bar (why? . In retrospect it was telling that the server didn't seem particularly excited about anything on the menu. Overall, meh.

Went for brunch and although the food was quite tasty, albeit a bit salty, the service left something to be desired. It was a full 20 minutes after we sat down that our beverage order was finally taken. Then they waited for my husband's cocktail to be made before bringing my coffee. THEN, I had to wait to have milk and sugar brought so that I could drink said coffee. Did I mention that this was brunch?! If they want to be competitive with all of the other restaurants in Columbia City that had lines out the door on a weekend afternoon, they should learn how to bring someone a cup of coffee in less than a half hour especially when there are only 3 occupied tables.
