"Really surprising to find such a delicious and unique dining experience on the outskirts of downtown Livermore. I came here on a Saturday evening to celebrate my cousin's birthday with 3 other diners. We were seated outside on their back patio area, which is both well-lit and cozy and open. The one thing that other diners have noted is that there is a very large pepper tree looming over half of the patio area that drops little leaves and plant-things on your food as you're dining. If you are eating there in the evening, it can be hard to see this in the dimmer lighting, so diner beware! We ordered several snacks and appetizers to share, including the Wingen Bakery bread (with butter), fritto of cabbage and pepper, roasted squash with chicken skin, and the potato flatbread. By far, our favorite was the fried potato flatbread, which reminded me of a savory fluffy churro. The creme fraiche and herbs were a nice touch that cut through the grease. I could eat one of these all by myself! It was by far, everyone's favorite because of its unique texture and overall deliciousness. For my main course, I ordered the flat iron steak and was so pleasantly surprised by how tender it was. The butter on top made it super luxurious tasting. I also loved the juicy and sweet early girl roasted tomatoes. And the buttery mashed potatoes were super smooth and delicious as well. I loved this dish and would totally order it again. We ordered three desserts to share: the milk and honey, sourdough churros, the lemon posset with corn and berries. All of it was good, but I especially enjoyed the lemon posset which had great texture and contrast between sweet and tart. This was a lovely dinner in a lovely setting. Service was attentive without being obtrusive. I loved their little touches such as the string lights, wall murals, and blankets as well as the fact that their heat lamps were super strong! I would absolutely return to Range Life and highly recommend it for a great dinner experience!"
