"We arrived right at open but had to wait outside the locked door until about 12-15 minutes past. The young hostess/server was polite enough, but was in no rush to seat us which was annoying. She took a phone call before seating us.. we we're the only two there!Onto the food – I was surprised how much I enjoyed it! The vegetable dumplings were delectable, and the shrimp tempura, too! The shrimp was tender and juicy and the light breading was perfect. The pork buns were a miss, though. Dry and no real flavor other then a slight (and misplaced IMO cinnamon/spice taste. The seared salmon nigiri was also gross in my opinion (it was sort of metal-y and fishy tasting? .. I spit it out, actually. BUT, I am open to the possibility that it's simply a matter of personal preference... Despite this, what stole the show for me (and this review was the escolar on top of one of the rolls (the one with asparagus in it . It was the most buttery, delectable piece of fish I've ever put in my mouth! I'm coming back for you, escolar.Ambiance? Just lovely."
