Shalom Y'all - Menu

I wish i could give this place 5/5 stars but I wasn’t fully satisfied with my food. Cinnamon was used in 3 meals out 3 we ordered and it completely overshadows the flavor. Although waiters are polite and it looks good inside

We've found another favorite restaurant in Portland! We absolutely loved the food and will definitely be returning. The only thing we wished for was a larger or better selection of beers. Otherwise, it was fantastic! Food: 5/5

I love having a reason to come have brunch here. The food is amazing with perfect texture and balance which can be hard with this kind of cuisine. It's the best kind of comfort food for me. The staff is amazing and there when you need them but not too much. Eat well, tip well, and try the amazing menu of cocktails.Food: 5/5 View menu

The food is incredible—delicious and perfect for sharing! Everything we tried, from the appetizers to the main courses and desserts, was amazing. Each visit seems to be better than the last! Just a heads-up: if you’re coming from downtown Portland, be cautious of the train tracks on the way. There are alternative routes, though.

Extremely good food for even us vegetarians. : The falafel melted in our mouths, the cabbage skewers were surprisingly delicious, the hummus and harissa potatoes lip-smacking good. Round it off with soft pitas and a heirloom tomato and olive oil salad, it was just perfect for our friends night out. There are more things to be tried on the menu and we will be back!

Had a chance to dine at Shalom Y'all in Meridian recently. The food's pretty good, although you might feel the pinch with the prices. But hey, sometimes you pay a bit for the ambiance, which is genuinely cozy and welcoming here. Just a heads up it's close to the train tracks. While some might find it quirky, others might not be fans. Either way, if you're in Meridian, it's worth dropping by for a bite. View menu

The food was so good. Fragrant and flavorful, with tender meat and amazing salads and maybe the best falafel I’ve ever had. The food was truly excellent, right down to the sweet mint tea. We ordered 4 dishes shared between 3 people. It was so good we cleaned every plate. With 20% tip we each spent around $37. It is an indulgent lunch but it was very much enjoyed by all. Comfortable atmosphere and great service. My friends I will be back frequently!

Couldn't dine in because it was busy but we did a take out with almost every item on the menu. I found the food rather moderate (or bland) in flavour, and unusually for an American food joint, small(relatively speaking) in quantity.. my friends seem to like the shawarma bowl (again bland). The babaghanoush was unlike any I've tasted in the past, and not in the best way. Decent bread though.Not sure I would go back..Nice outdoor seating and interesting ambience if you can get a seat

The food here is absolutely delicious! The fries are truly exceptional—perfectly seasoned and with the ideal texture. The horseradish yogurt beet ketchup that accompanies them is unique and delightful! We also loved the hummus with lamb; the homemade pita is a wonderfully fluffy bread. We tried the Shalom Y’all Plate (not pictured) and enjoyed sampling a variety of their dishes. The falafel were truly outstanding—perhaps the best I’ve ever had. However, the chicken shawarma was a bit disappointing; the chicken was a bit dry and could have used some sauce or more flavor. Everything else was fantastic, though, so I’d just skip the shawarma next time. View menu
