"Short Pump is a chain restaurant, so you know what to expect. Although we usually prefer to eat local, the theme caught my attention and I was craving a burger. The theme is well executed, right down to the garage oil rag-style napkins! The place is filled with fun Ford and car-related memorabilia. It’s very loud inside, though. Our server, Kwan, was fantastic—friendly, polite, efficient, and checked on us just the right amount. Unfortunately, the food was disappointing. The burger patty was dry and tough, the peanut butter was overly runny, and the bun was thin. The Ford logo stamped on the bun was a nice touch. The vegetables, meant to be a healthier side, were coated in butter or oil. The cheese curds were greasy and lacked flavor. The drink menu was fun, though. Parking is limited with a small lot, but there is a garage nearby. What we tried: - Cheese Curds: Creamy Tillamook cheddar cheese bites served with chipotle ranch - Jiffy Burger: American cheese, applewood smoked bacon, crisp lettuce, and creamy peanut butter on a brioche bun - Americana Roadster: American cheese, red onion, tomato, crisp lettuce, and pickle planks on a brioche bun - Bacon Old Fashioned Rating breakdown: Service: 5/5 Food (taste/flavor/quality): 0.5/5 Presentation: 1/5 Atmosphere/vibe: 5/5 Value: 1/5 Overall, the service and atmosphere stood out, but the food quality did not meet expectations. Dinner for two cost between $10–20 per person."
