"In contrast to many genuine Chinese restaurants, where you typically see a lively atmosphere filled with chatting aunties and uncles, this place felt lacking. I tried the baked rice, which was mediocre at best, but the stir-fry dishes were excessively salty. My family and I found ourselves drinking copious amounts of water with every bite, probably downing around ten cups of hot tea each just to counter the saltiness. If you're searching for authentic Chinese cuisine that's flavorful without being overpoweringly salty, I would suggest looking elsewhere. Excessive salt is not beneficial for cardiovascular health, and authentic Chinese food is usually rich in umami and lower in salt."

I absolutely love this restaurant! They accommodated my request for meatless mapo tofu, which was fantastic. The prices are excellent, and this has become my family's favorite Chinese restaurant. View menu

This Cantonese-style restaurant has been a staple in San Lorenzo for many years. My family tends to stick with our favorites, but hopefully, we'll mix things up one day! For our usual order for a family of four, including two kids, we typically get: beef fried rice, chicken chow mein, eggplant, and green beans. Occasionally, we’ll also order chicken with vegetables, chicken or beef with broccoli, or orange or lemon chicken. It’s great to see that the portion sizes are returning to what they were before the pandemic!

"We settled in and started with samosas as our appetizer. The crust of each samosa was a perfect golden brown and not overcooked, which was a promising sign. The potato filling was lightly seasoned and tasted fantastic—I would definitely order that again! For our main course, we chose Saag Paneer, Daal Makhani, and a basket of four vegetarian naans. We requested that our food be prepared medium hot. While the Daal and Saag Paneer were delicious, they could have used a bit more heat; I’ll need to ask them to spice it up a bit next time. Our bread basket included fenugreek (methi) naan, aloo paratha, hara bhara (green) naan, and pezaa naan. The first three were simply delightful—I could have been completely satisfied with just those for my meal. However, I wasn't fond of the pezaa naan, which includes cheese, onions, and dried fruits; it had an overpowering onion taste, so I won’t be ordering that again. While we were dining, two ladies at the next table noticed our order and struck up a conversation; they turned out to be regulars at this restaurant. They agreed that the food is generally served mild and could benefit from a bit of extra spice. Overall, I highly recommend this place. It’s definitely worth multiple visits and is one of the best spots to experience Indian flavors. I’m even considering catering food from here for my future parties!"
