"Wait, what's this? You have Detroit style pizza now in the City?? and there's a vegan option??? Detroit style is my favorite (despite having lived in Chicago for a few years) so it was a joy to see this close to my hotel. I ordered the Samin's Vegan Pie which is topped with a red sauce, vegan cheese, confit tomato salad, and chilis. Sure, I would have liked more veggies but I'm used to eating all veggie pizzas, so this was a nice change of pace. Their crust was absolutely doughey and chewy just how I like my Detroit style pizza. The tomatoes were on point and bursting with flavors with each bite. The biggest piece of advice I can offer is to order online in advance. It takes over an hour for the pizza to be ready. Do not head there to place an order and wait outside, as it'll be a long time before your freshly baked pizza will be ready. Once your order is prepared, you'll receive a text message inviting you to head to the front. You'll see your name on the TV screen and that's when it'll be ready. Be aware they do impose a 5% SF Mandate Healthcare Charge so it'll be a bit more than you expect."

I tried the vegan pizza and it was delicious. The portions are large, making it easy to share one with others.

as always, the pizza is good, wing crispy and tasty and brussels sprouts seasoned well. eating takes forever to deliver (85 min), but that is to be expected and that is worth waiting. will definitely order again.

I was craving my favorite Detroit-style pizza and was pleasantly surprised to find it in San Francisco! I decided to keep it simple and go with the vegan cheese pizza, which turned out to be delicious. They also had some tempting brussel sprouts on the menu that looked appetizing.

The pizzas here are AMAZING! Nice thick pizza with abundant toppings and savory cheese and sauce. The edges are nice and crispy giving it that tasty crunchy crust. The big von is my favorite square pizza, especially when paired with the crispy brussel sprouts (please don’t take away the seasonal brussel sprouts, they’re so good View menu

My friends and I ordered a personalized pizza with dairy-free cheese, Beyond Meat, mushrooms, and olives. It was a delicious deep dish pizza, though definitely not a healthy choice. We visited the restaurant looking for a tasty pizza experience, not worrying about the calories. I highly recommend trying it if you're in Ghirardelli Square!

Disappointing, but not bad pizza overall. Given the crowd out front waiting for pick up orders when I arrived and the fact that it took over an hour from when I put my order in til I finally got it, I was expecting more. Be prepared to wait, don’t expect a seamless pick up process (honestly it’s a mess), and temper your expectations if you’ve eaten Detroit-style pizza actually in Detroit.

make absolutely terrible experience. I have my order 40 minutes after they said it will be ready. I was wasting my time. by now, they let you wait in the cold and just stand up like vieh. I feel terrible for the people living in the building above, there is about a dozen cars just double parked up and down the bus lane blocks the garage. it's a ghost kitchen. Save time and money and get pizza somewhere else. it is perfectly good pizza, but they can get perfect good pizza throughout the city for much less annoying. View menu

not in the rule a fan of detroit style pizza, but these cakes are delicious! so, much. brot. the crispy crust is excellent, but the rest of the teigs is only to wish that they could hold this crust, but the teig in the middle around the half thin. I had the big of before and it was excellent. Sausage and mushroom with vodka sauce today was also very good. Plain cheese was really mediocre and I would give this place 2 stars when all their cakes so lubricated. ordered by doordash, was bent over extra hard and would probably not do it again. $68 with dashpass for 2 cakes, delivery and tipp. feather 2 adult without rest.

please listen to them, the collection process is a huge chaos. there is no order or ground for the pick-up process. there are two lines for collection, one for toast tab and the other for delivery services. instead of asking what the name is on the order, the two employees attack random pockets at the front and call out random names to see who claims the order. they tend to the delivery service much more than the toast tab page. as a suggestion, please take on each side twists and ask them for the name on the order. if the order is not finished, they ask them to step to the side. it's such a scandal that a wonderful pizza feels cold when I get it. there is also no parking space around, so th...

"Earlier this year Salty 's was featured in one of the top 100 places to eat in the Bay Area in 2022, and after trying it a couple times, it 's easy to see why. Quality and flavor, great customer service, it checks all those boxes. I occasionally visit the 24 hour fitness on Van Ness, and Salty 's happens to be just few short blocks away which makes it perfect when I 'm looking for a post-workout sandwich. And for those that know me, I love me my sandwiches. On my latest visit, I decided to go with the 'Glorious B sandwich, which come with turkey, bacon, avocado, pepper jack, veggies, and garlic mayo. The blend of flavors and high quality of the turkey is no wonder it 's at the very top of the menu list. It 's one of those sandwiches, that you can bring to park and not need a ton of napkins to get through. It was well put together, with the ratio of all the ingredients matching well. Nothing overpowering, just sandwich perfection. The size of the sandwich I thought was the perfect size for my appetite. As I 've gotten older I can 't put down as much food as I used to, and after one-half I knew I could 've stopped eating, be content, saved the rest for later. But of course I ate the whole thing and nothing sounds better than taking a quick power nap right after. I love that their menu has so many different sandwich combinations, so definitely take time to check their menu before calling-in/walking-in to order because it 'll definitely save you some time. On my latest visit, I was in and out in 10 minutes. Definitely towards the top of my list of sandwiches in this part of town!"
