"I cannot express how much I appreciate this place, but I?ll try. First of all, the staff very friendly. Very enthusiastic. And they take great pride in their work. Which brings me to my next point. The food. I didn?t order anything super complex. Just asandwich. It came with fries, which is standard but they other options which was refreshing. Then they asked what other sideitem I?d like. My first thought was they were trying to get me to order more food. But no. It was part of deal. I ordered somesoup with it too, and my whole order was ready within minutes. And fresh too, not something dried out from under hearlamps. The decor is very old school. A diner type of place but with a little more sophistication. And the staff kept itsuperbly clean. Very positive atmosphere and not what you?d expect from a typical truck stop. My day personally was rough. Iwon?t go into the details as to exactly why, but this place had absolutely nothing to do with it. In fact, after a long andtrying day, this experience was one I desperately needed. I will definitely come back if traveling this way again. A welcomingand enthusiastic staff that?s takes pride in their work and giving quality food no matter how simple or complicated the order?That?s almost a lost art these days, and this place keeps it very much alive."

One of the best places to eat! Always very happy staff. Food variety is fantastic. Come here anytime I go north on I55. Exit 100A. Come hungry as they give you too much.

Highly recommend! Love it when you find a small cafe that has home cooked meals!! We had the reuben beef tips. Service was excellent! They had runners clearing plates and filling water glasses, along with their wait staff. And the cheesecake....to die for!!! View menu

2nd time in and still love this place. It’s located in a truck stop but really popular with the locals too so it stays busy. Everyone that worked there seemed genuinely glad to have you there First off, SOUPS! They have the best homemade soup around. This time it was chicken and stars and a beef barley. I had both and they were excellent. I also got a chicken fried steak that was a huge portion with mashed spuds and a choice of gravy. The menu has Italian, American and even Greek?
