"This place was bought out by a local family just over a year ago and, oh boy, they have turned it right around it’s perfect! The food is simply remarkable. We ate fry bread, burgers, wings, steaks, baked potatoes (to die for! and the fresh salad bar (it’s well worth repeat visits, we didn’t chow down on all that in a single sitting! The cosy, comfy, well stocked bar is an ideal spot to relax and unwind after a day visiting the eye popping canyons, lakes and local attractions, and the only thing better than the food was the service. Genuinely warm, attentive and friendly, the team behind Steer 89’s growing popularity deserve huge credit. Warmly recommend."

Great Wild West vibe, super friendly waitstaff and wow the Navajo bread is great (so is everything else, but the bread is unique)

Friendly staff and original Taco that was recommended by a native. I'd rather call it a pizza at first sight. It was nice and very well served.

Fast and amazing customer service! Amazing tasting of fresh food. Your sliders are amazing and the desert is in great taste! In any case, would recommend if you want your money worth! View menu

The food was outstanding! Our group enjoyed a Ribeye, an Angus Burger, a BLT, and a club sandwich, along with a salad, fries, and a potato wedge appetizer. The steak and Angus Burger were both exquisite and flavorful. Thank you!

I really enjoyed the decor and atmosphere of the restaurant. The prices were reasonable, and the portion sizes were generous. The salad bar was decent, and they even have a stage, suggesting they have live music, although there wasn't any during my visit in the middle of the week. Additionally, the service was pleasant.

Food was excellent and the portions were huge. Service was attentive and polite. The Navajo burger comes on fry bread and was thick and juicy. Our server told us any of the sandwiches they make can be served on fry bread. The shrimp and muscle soup was a hint spicy (from pepper I think) and had wonderful flavor. The steak was cooked perfectly. Highly recommend this restaurant if you're in Page. View menu

Lyle at the bar provided excellent service, which earned this place an extra star. They have a selection of local beers on tap, but we primarily came for the Navajo Taco, and it did not disappoint. The portion is large enough to share as an appetizer or split into two for dinner. It consists of Navajo fry bread topped with mild beef chili, salad, tomatoes, cheese, and red onions. It was served with sides of sour cream and Pace Salsa. There are few places in the city where you can find a Navajo Taco, and considering the fantastic service and great food, I believe this was a solid choice for dinner.

"There 's no doubt that dining at this restaurant affords a memorable sunset view. However, there are a few noteworthy downsides that dampen the overall experience. When it comes to food, it 's a bit of a mixed bag. The BBQ chicken is passable, but doesn 't leap off the plate. It feels like opportunity missed, considering BBQ is such a versatile dish. On a brighter note, the Katsu bowl carries a robust flavor, an instant hit on your tastebuds. But the over fried meat leaves it with a hitch that stops it from being an outright star. Now, coming to service, it 's just plain frustrating. The outdoor seating area was not well maintained, sending an unappealing first impression. After requesting a table wipe, we were left waiting for a while. And then, after a long delay, we were essentially forgotten. A group of four, left hanging for 15 long minutes before we could even order unacceptable! Perhaps the biggest bummer was the lengthy waiting time for our dishes, made even worse when we spotted other tables getting served first. In summary, the superb view is a lure, but the restaurant needs to level up their food and service standards. It 's not a place you 'd want to write off, but you come with realistic expectations of the experience. At the moment, a sunset view can 't make up for underwhelming service and inconsistent food quality. Extra effort to improve these crucial points could take this place from just 'okay ' to 'fantastic '."
