"This is a solid all around breakfast, lunch and dinner family restaurant. I've been here for both breakfast and dinner. I was more impressed with breakfast, but dinner was pretty decent. I wanted to have a couple of beers with dinner after a long drive from Grand Rapids before retiring for the night, but alas, on tap they only had Bud and Miller. I wasn't too happy about about that, but they at least had Blue Moon and Sam Adams in bottles, so it wasn't a total loss. I had chicken Alfredo that was good but could have used more garlic, plus I didn't like the fact the chicken was breaded. I far prefer it grilled on such a dish. I also had a side dish of pierogis, which were decent except they were covered in cheddar cheese. I like cheddar cheese, but after dining many times in Hamtramck, I don't think it belongs on pierogis. Farmers or sweet cheese is what is usually found on pierogis, not cheddar. I know, I'm being picky, but go visit Polish Village or Polonia in Hamtramck and you'll see what I mean. I'm thinking that because the clientele was more of the silver haired variety, they had beers on tap that might have been the norm in approximately 1972, when most of the clientele was in their 30s. However, these days, it would be nice to have about five taps with about two of them being microbrews, preferably local since Michigan is such a microbrewery powerhouse. The service was excellent and that means a lot to me, so I'd gladly go back, but most likely only for breakfast."

I enjoyed the breakfast skillet. Sausage, ham, hash browns, onion and peppers. Filling and very quick.

We had a wonderful experience here. Mairin (sic), our waitress, is a chef and guidedus through our choices beautifully. The lighting isnt very friendly to an over-50 face, but the great food, service and prices trump.

I had the wet burrito, and the soup and salad bar add-on. There were six suits, and I tasted a little bit of each one. My favorite was the chicken and rice. The service was okay, so the waitress seem to be having a bad day.

Definitely a locals place. The night we visited the salad bar was depleted and there weren't any soup spoons. I had the sirloin steak and, while it was tender, it didn't have much flavor. Our waitress was friendly and polite, it just didn't make up for the other issues. View menu

We visited Studebakers on Saturday morning before our Soo Locks Tour cruise. We were seated right away, and the restaurant was spotless. Our waitress was fantastic! Our food came out quickly, and everything was cooked to perfection. Plus, the coffee was excellent! We highly recommend this place!

This is a fantastic little spot! The burgers were flavorful and just the right size. The kids' menu offered plenty of choices. There was ample space and the restrooms were clean. One unique feature I loved was the collection of license plates on one wall. Overall, I had a delightful experience here!

Studebakers probably has the best omelets that I have ever had in my life. Try the German omelet it is like no other omelet! It's always a nice treat. I would love to come try their new dinner menu as I hear they have new ownership and are going after a more Italian style for dinner. They have a breakfast bar on the weekends and a soup and salad bar daily that is great for like $8. View menu

They were out of chicken, which was disappointing. However, I ended up getting the prime rib sandwich with au jus and horseradish sauce. This place has a classic Americana vibe and is just a few miles from Canada. Overall, the food is excellent and quite affordable, especially compared to prices in my city. My waitress was really friendly and brought me a beer, which was fantastic. Just a heads up, don’t come here expecting a selection of craft beers; the options are mostly mainstream like Angry Orchard and Budweiser. But I'm perfectly fine with that!

Well we were concerned as there were seats and booths outside in the back and there was only a few cars in the lot. We ordered iced tea and that has a weird taste but sometimes tea has a odd taste based on the water. The mushrooms were very good. My husbands philly steak sandwich was good. I did not like the coleslaw it had dill in it and was watery, the chicken pie was so peppery I could not eat it, the waitress was so sweet she offered me something else but it took over 30 minutes to get the second item so I had to take it to go. Again the waitress was sweet and tried very hard. I however feel that a manager or cook should of came out and talked us.
