"We have been coming to Monocacy Crossing fir years! The food is amazing! Some favorites remain in the menu but there are wonderful specials. The crispy deviled eggs and pound cake are not to be missed. I like the selection of small plates that I can pair with a salad rather than a heavy meal. We were celebrating our anniversary and we’ve had many anniversaries"

"So I visited one of my favorite BBQ joints with a customer today for lunch. Black Hog Urbana. Great BBQ and excellent experience as always. I used my personal credit card in lieu of my corporate card by mistake (they look identical). Thank goodness for that. That allowed me to check my Chase App (I'm OCD and do that daily) and I realized that I used the wrong card. I looked for that card in my wallet and it was not there. I figured I had left it at the restaurant so I hopped in the car and drove back over. Bear in mind that this had taken all of an hour and a half and I had gone nowhere or used that card in between. I went inside and told them I left my card and the search was on. Nothing in the left credit card pile in the cash register. Searched every little black check folder. Nothing. Looked under the table where I sat. Nothing. The lovely young lady took my name and number and said she would call me if it turned up. I told her thank you but I was going to cancel the card momentarily. I went out to my car and again went on my Chase credit App to cancel the card and low and behold, there was already a fraudulent charge for $328.00 on my card. I went back inside and showed the woman who I had been dealing with the fraudulent charge on my phone. She appeared sympathetic and apologetic which I truly believe she was. But the circumstances are this. Within an hour and a half of me leaving my credit card in a restaurant payment folder, fraudulent charges were showing up on my account. How does that happen? I'm not sure but I have some pretty good ideas how that happens. For anyone using credit cards in restaurants, please make sure you receive your credit card back along with your check and especially make sure that the first thing you do is put the card back in your wallet before you sign the check. Too short a window here for strange circumstances to explain."

"I've been eating sushi for 40 years now. I can't remember the last time I had sushi this bad. The sushi that you buy at the grocery store is better than this place and less than half the price . The first 2 photos in the carryout containers are from Kyo Sushi. The last 2 photos on plates are from a sushi restaurant in Germantown. You compare and make your own decision."

"An amazing quiet place for Sunday family brunch. The best part here was that in the buffet there were ample vegetarian choice and the vegetarian Buffett was set up separately from the non vegetarian option. The dal tadka and the onion fritters were done right and the ambience was beautiful. This restaurant is situated near the sugarloaf parkway and you also have the great views during fall. Service: Dine in"

"This place is near one of our favorite date night restaurants so we have thought about trying it for some time. Today happened to be the day. I really don't want to say anything bad about it. But it started off for us with a creepy vibe from the guy at the podium when we walked in. After being seated, we looked over the menu. Brace yourself the prices are higher than you would expect. We made our selections and when the plates came out I was amused at the portion. For the price I expected ala carte servings. We found the food quality to be..neutral. We got out of there just under $100. Much more than anticipated. The wait staff were friendly. The bread basket and olive oil was good. Hard pass on the rice balls $3.25 each. That said, it certainly isn't the worst dining experience we have had. We enjoyed being out together so that was nice. I don't think we'll hurry back."
