"The taste of the food was between ok and good, nothing special. I had higher expectations after seeing reviews. I ordered a pasta dish with sausage. I guess pasta, sauce and sausage are homemade, but I was disappointed when the dish arrived with 3 small bites of sausage. I ordered a cocktail that arrived weak and mostly with ice in the shape of a juice glass. When the waitress noticed that I drank it in a few sips, I asked for another one, but without ice. What I got was an 8 ounce glass of milk with a dash of Kahlua in it. No way to impress. I just wanted a good drink."

"We had a fantastic experience dining at Federal Grill on Saturday evening. The host (or manager) greeted us warmly and checked in on us several times throughout the night. Being a Saturday in the Financial District, the atmosphere was quite calm, which enhanced our enjoyment. The food was excellent, especially the fried chicken, and the cocktails were unique. The staff was friendly, and the ambiance of the room was lovely."

"I had made a reservation for 7:30. It was my son's birthday. We also stayed at the River Crab hotel there . We were seated at 7:45 At 8:05 No one still had come to.our table. Had to ask for water and 8:15 a boy brought us water and said he would send over a waitress. 8:30 still no waitress Got up and told the hostess to please send a waitress. 8 :40 still no one. Every waitress passed out table like we were not even there. I.was so upset that we got up and left the restaurant and went somewhere else.to eat. There were 4 of us and my son's birthday was totally ruined!!!!!. I have never in my life treated so poorly at a restaurant. I will be sure to tell my friends of the horrible service we received. NO EXCUSE FOR THIS KIND OF SERVICE!!!!!!!!!"

"After a day of shopping, we were in search of a dinner spot and decided to check out this restaurant. Unfortunately, the main dining area was not open when we asked at the hotel front desk (the restaurant is located within the hotel), but we were able to order from the bar section. We opted for the salmon with mashed sweet potatoes and black lentils, as well as the turkey burger melt. The food was decent and the service was satisfactory. My favorite part of the meal was definitely the cold Brooklyn lager."

"It has been a few years since we dined at Admiral Risty, and since the announcement of their closing, we decided it was time to go one last time and it did not fail us then and this time around! The place was packed as expected but we were seated almost immediately and once at our table it was not very long before our waiter was serving our needs. We had ordered appetizers, soup and salad and all were great! Between our entree's of flank steak and sea bass were cooked to perfection. Going to miss Admiral Risty!"

"Nice, cozy room with a small but well-designed selection of beers. The food is also very good; The starters may seem a little expensive for a gastropub, but for gourmets they are comparable in complexity and taste to dishes in the rich table, a rare find in the outer mission / Bernal. If you are looking for tasty snacks, great cocktails and beer in the neighborhood, I highly recommend this hotel."

"that was a terrible experience. to qualify this evaluation, we have literally eaten thunderstorms of restaurants all over the world and I am the creator of thousands of online recipes for large retailers. I'm qualified. the bar was great. the drinks were good, although the stoli doli had not marinated long enough. service is excellent. appetizers were very good. oysters from charleston were excellent. I ordered a glass sancere and was brought a very young chardonnay. at $20 a glass (almost the cost of a bottle) I complained. they opened a new bottle and poured me a very beautiful wine. should never have happened in a restaurant of this so-called hit. "As usual, the food, and the service was very good. The staff seem to be down and bewildered. I asked what was wrong. They said the general manager Steve was working his last day at the Brick Brew.  We met Steve 3 to 4 years ago, and he was one of the main reasons we made the Brick Brew a regular stop. His attention to detail his sense of humor, and always being impeccably dressed are just some of the highlights.  We met the new manager, and she was very nice but dressed in a nirvana T-shirt a sweater, jeans, and flip-flops or sandals. The staff told me they were in tears when he left the building and a couple customers told me Steve is going to be the GM at Joey chops in Malvern. We will be sure to start supporting him in his new endeavor."

"Went to dinner with friends. They were out of the cornbread and wagyu burgers, which we wanted to order originally. We ordered the famous chicken nachos which were solid, along with the regular burger, chicken French dip, and an old fashioned. The drinks were subpar at best and one of the burgers was supposed to be plain with bacon— they added bacon bits instead of actual bacon. Food also took about 45 minutes to come out. Below average dining experience."

"I really wish I could rate this place higher. It’s truly one-of-a-kind. The owner and staff are incredibly kind and create a fantastic atmosphere. The live music was delightful, and the food was amazing—everything was fresh and served at the perfect temperature. The restaurant itself was clean, including the bathrooms. There’s a unique vibe here, and if you’re in search of a great seafood restaurant, I highly recommend giving this one a try."

"The staff at Mastro 's is always top notch. Notably, our server (Erika) was appropriately attentive and helpful. Everything from the steaks to the side dishes were done very well, as usual. We are never disappointed with the steaks. The 'only ' exception was the asparagus, which was a bit fibrous. We would have been happy with the tips, which eliminates much of the fibrous lower stalk, but I understand customers tend to want the full stalk. On the positive side, the halibut was thick and perfectly seared. Some of the best halibut we 've ever had, as it can be difficult to cook such a delicate fish. The wild mushrooms in truffle butter and garlic mashed potatoes were also very good. We really enjoy visiting Mastro 's and will certainly be back again."

"We drove by and they looked busy. We walked in and got a table right away. The service was amazing. Our waitress was great and attentive. The portions were huge, even the appetizers. We got the frito misto, prime rib, crab with mahi mahi, and shrimp en croute. The frito misto was not heavy for being fried. The entrees were piping hot, even the baked potato. The chargrilled asparagus was delicious and memorable. Everything was well seasoned. By the time our entrees came, we were getting full because the food was rich. I was blown away with the experience and delicious food. Would highly recommend for dinner in the area."

"After giving us only the options of 7:15 or 7:45, not 7:30 as we wanted. When we arrived for our 7:15 reservation they kept us waiting half an hour. Although they were apologetic, they did not offer us a free after dinner coffee or any other sort of tangible apology. That kind of service does not encourage a return visit. The rest of the service was good, other than the waiter trying to suggest the Dom Perignon Champagne for $350 (he didn't tell us the price)."

"It was my sons 16th birthday and he’s autistic. They seated us in the center of a room when several booths were available. I got up and asked the hostess for a booth. She just said give me a few minutes. We never got a booth we even asked our waitress but they told her no since we had already ordered our food. My son was extremely upset so that started the bad dining experience. Then we ordered crème brûlée and what we got was soupy custard. $300 later and we were completely disappointed! Won’t be back"
