"my partner and I found this hidden gem a year ago. we have loved to come and enjoy a lot of food for a decent price! the quality is up to par with places that load much more. we loved the old QR code function for contactless ordering. I feel, however, as if the service and quality have begun to sink. my recent visit, 8/6/22, has confirmed this decline. my partner and I ordered two appetizers and six roll sushi, we ate with our eyes safe. unfortunately I bite in my one roll and stabbed a sharp piece of plastic. Now, in the rule, I would brush it off and try not to say anything, but it pushed me to the point that my gum started to bleed. I brought it to my server attentiveness and he said he would draw it into the kitchens. in the meantime we check and pay for our $75 bill without a single penny taken off. Now I don't expect a full refund, but if I spend more than $60 every time and then I have to crush a whole roll because of a piece of plastic in my food. I expect something. I wanted to be satisfied as if I had been in the past, but I am not sure if I will feel comfortable to know again that it feels that it could happen again."

The sushi was great! They have some unique rolls, and they're BOGO. We especially loved the fire ball roll.

Nice place with a bar and great sushi. A little pricy but worth it, would definitely recommend. Make sure to have a reservation, can get busy on weekends.

This was a delight. Fresh, flavorful and well prepared. The seaweed salad was probably one of the best I've had. Very good selection, well presented reasonably priced. Exceeded only by the service.

They had nice vegan options. The specialty sushi rolls are BOGO always, which was nice. The “crazy rich” roll was decent. I quite liked the “save the roll.” The pad Thai tasted more like barbecue sauce (kinda weird). The drunken noodles were better.Overall, good spot for vegans, just ok for fish/meat-eaters. View menu

All of the fried rolls were way over cooked. You can tell by the photo one of my rolls are hard balls almost. Not a lot of sauce for flavor. They were quick, but the tuna inside was mushy like dog food and presentations weren’t well done. I didn’t really enjoy the rolls I had. My husband said his were okay, but definitely not the best we’ve ever had. Maybe we will try it again, prices were pretty good with the BOGO specialty rolls.

I am a local who has ordered takeout many times from Sushi at the Park. The food is inconsistent and orders are often missing items or are incorrect. Management is non-apologetic and not empathetic. They do not correct there errors and place blame on the customer! Food service is always slow! If owners want locals to come back, they need to appreciate their customers. Train management and staff to make sure customers are happy. I will not return to this restaurant and recommend others spend their money elsewhere. Buyer beware!

"I love to support local caffes and hopefully find new ones to add my favorite list. we live in durham and have a full of excellent coffee shops with locally roasted beans. when we found ourselves shopping in Morrisville/Cary furniture yesterday, I searched google and found meeple’s close by with excellent reviews. I didn't know this was the board game coffee shop I heard from until I got in. I think that explains the high ratings and popularity, not necessarily the coffee. I admit, the board game spectacle is pretty cool. the reason I give this 2 stars is because 1 the coffee is waaaaay more expensive than any other coffee shop in the triangle; 2 the espresso roast is a bit burned tasting like dieucks, but not terrible; and 3 the service is incredibly slow. I ordered an ice-cold latte with milk. this drink cost me $7 before the drink. for a 16 ounce drink! at the day before I had $6 for the best tasting hafermilch mocha I had in a local coffee shop and it was a 24 oz drink (new world caffe in raleigh.) so the quality doesn’t add to the extravagant cost of espresso drinks at meeple’s when compared to the dozens of other local coffee shops we have visited the these are airport prices! the drink was decent, not the best lavendel latte I had (cloche coffee in durham deserved this title in front of location, the well coffee shop in boston deserves the highest honor), so I admit it for the greatest part, but it was not worth the price tag. the brat wasn't my favorite. it had a bit of a burning taste like dieucks is famous. because I had a lavender latte, it was more subtle, but I could still say that it was roasted in the aftertaste. my man tasted it and was not a fan of espressos, although his favorite drink is a lavender. he only took one and said that was enough. Maybe we're just coffee-snobs, because we're the type that pays $25/lb for 100% cona coffee beans and they're regularly sent to us. I expect the price to be the same as the quality. the service was also very slow. it took 10 minutes to go my icy latte. during this time the girl made only 1 latte and a cup of tea for a few dining rooms. other coffee shops would have scrubbed 10 cups in the same time. the place was busy playing with people games, but don't order coffee drinks. only 2 other customers came in the 10 minutes I waited, and they got their coffee pretty fast as they were cold roast coffees that did not need the espresso machine. so it was not as if they were so busy or with orders secured. there was literally only one in front of me to make one of these objects only a cup of tea that does not require much effort. they had 3 employees, but apparently only this one girl could drink an espresso while the others were busy. the concept is unique and interesting, but I will not return. the price marking did not justify the quality or the lack of this of the small one. I think what they really pay is the experience, not the product."
