"Sushi Dan offers a decent amount of unique and flavorful sushi combinations not to mention soups and side dishes. Overall the food was fantastic and the fried calamari that I had was top-notch the crab sushi we had was a little mediocre and seemed like it may not have been the best quality but the miso soup and the rolls were all wonderful and I would highly recommend sticking with those. This place gets super busy and the service has a tendency to suffer because of how swamp they are so I would recommend getting there early or ordering your food to go to avoid the wait."

My favorite sushi spot! It truly serves the best sushi in town! Be sure to try the 'Hot Night,' 'Baked Langostino,' 'Salmon Killer,' and '911'—these are some of my top picks!

FAN-TAB. Awesome awesome awesome! I used to live 10 minutes from Sushi Dan and would move back to LA almost for SD alone. I highly recommend the Ventura Roll! The staff are great and the food is out of this world! yum!

This is the best sushi I've ever had! The quality is outstanding, and the prices are very reasonable. I highly recommend this place. We visited for lunch, and the sushi was incredibly fresh! We will definitely be returning. View menu

The sushi was pretty good. The service was great. The studio city roll was way too salty imo and very acidic almost. The paparazzi is the greatest sushi dessert I’ve ever had. Dangerously good but rich and heavy. The combination was solid as well.

To die for. I love to eat and sushi is my favorite. Sushi Dan's is by far the best sushi I have ever had. I go regularly and it never fails to please. Favorites are langostino roll, dani roll, and albacore special roll- you must try these three. I promise you will be happy!!!

If your unvaccinated no worries because there is an outside seating option to enjoy! Just a heads up the orders come in 4 pieces when you order sushi. My experience was a quick one from seating to actually recieving the sushi. Staff was top notch. That sushi must come from the best fishmongers because it was love at first taste. Nothing bad to say here, Sushi Dan is View menu

Amazingly good sushi. Love it. Seared salmon belly sushi was to die for. I like my eel perfectly seared, warm, tender and crispy on the outside not that common (many restaurants serve it cold and rubbery). Spanish mackerel is my benchmark sushi dish that lets me judge a Japanese restaurant and these guys nailed it. Highly recommend. The only thing that disappointed me a little was the fact that they didn't have any red snapper. But overall it's a solid 5/5 excellent value too.

Great for Lunch! I've visited Sushi Dan a few times for their lunch specials, which are quite a good deal, priced between $11.95 and $14.95. You can choose two items: the first can be Mixed Tempura, Gyozas, or five pieces of sushi; the second can be a sushi roll, salad, or some other items. The food is decent and portions are generous for lunch. However, I would recommend steering clear of their Chirashi. I’m unlikely to return for dinner, as the tables, chairs, and overall setting aren’t very comfortable. The service provided by the waitstaff is just average.

"I never leave bad reviews when I can help, but from our experience last night I only had to say for dinner as a whole was so disappointing, the least and after the output it was just a complete bill. if they come here for a nice dinner, they have great food or steaks please skip. go somewhere else food: we ordered the oysters, lobster bisque, bread basket (the btw is) and the tomahawk steak with sides. the entire meal was nothing special, characterized by the fact that even though our server always say that its just come out of the often his hot we have the broth basket roomtemp and the lobster bisque as a think. none of them were served hot. I give these stars only because of the tomahawk steak in the middle well, it was delicious. it was a hope that it would be good, right? we ordered the familiar and the brussels sprouts, but it came out, served on small dust sacks. small portions. a little taste. Note: they no longer serve the special measurable and sauce for any steak order. bummer ambiance service: la boucherie is on the floor of the hotel so that the prospects in the night are amazing. server were nice and polite. they were attentive and very professional. everything in all, if I can turn back the time, I wouldn't be here at all. the evening has lost its elegance and prices do not justify the disappointing food. I hope they can fix this and bring back the old la boucherie charme and aromen."
