"our culinary experience in aji was really a pleasure. my man and I were on our honeymoon trip and were looking for something else to dinner one night. the menu in aji is exciting and the ceviche and empanadas are some of the best I ever had. we were so excited to try the three types of ceviche texture, taste, everything was fresh and balanced. the service was also great and I felt so well taken care of and appreciated by our servers. next time we are in taos we will definitely come back! we went on Friday night and the restaurant was not busy, which was openly shocking when considering how wonderful it was to eat!"

"The food was ok, but the service was noticeably disorganized. Though there were easily 8 10 open tables when we arrived, there was a wait list of about 8 9 parties. At no time during our visit we 're all tables seated and there was a list of people waiting the whole time. Maybe someone didn 't show up to work, but it would seem that the restaurant would want every seat filled to turn as many tables as possible. There appear to be no sections for the servers so our wait person was handling tables all over the restaurant. When our server asked for drinks, she took one person 's order, and then walked away not asking anyone else if they wanted anything despite other people at the table having their hand raise trying to get a drink. When she returned, she asked if we wanted to order, said I forgot my machine and then walked away and didn 't return. After 15 minutes of waiting, we had to go the the hostess to ask to place an order. I 've worked front off house and my spouse has worked in the kitchen. Though our server may not naturally have the ideal organizationAl skills for the job, the front of house disorganization is a management issue and they are not doing the staff any favors. Too bad because the location is a draw and the food was totally reasonable for the price."

"The Baja fish tacos were fresh and tasty, accompanied by a fantastic tartar sauce and green chili sauce. The Mango and Horchata refresher drinks were outstanding. The waitstaff were very friendly. The chicken flautas were also fresh and delightful. The restaurant is equipped with air conditioning, and there is plenty of free parking available on-site. This is significant because many restaurants and bars in Taos lack parking options. The dessert, a coffee cake topped with ice cream and chocolate sauce, was both fresh and delicious. Additionally, the restaurant offers takeout and has a convenient drive-thru for ordering food. Overall, having ample parking is a major plus, especially since many establishments in Taos do not offer this."

"My friend and I stopped here on Saturday, 2/12. We enjoyed a pick-six of the charcuterie, a few glasses of wine, the kielbasa appetizer and a decadent cream brulee to complete it all. Sommelier (and probably owner) was so knowledgeable that he made the dining room above the top. Hearing his knowledge and processes really opened us to his world and we are so grateful. Chutney, cheese, sauerkraut and capocollo stood out. Especially the duckbone. Duck confit was just about the most tasty thing we had all week. Unbelievable thoughts and care on each row and presented with each court. We'll be back, even if we have to drive from Denver, just for a bite of the duck."

"Stopped in on a Wednesday at 6p with a co-worker. Parking is very limited outside. They seat more inside than they have parking spots outside. We were greeted immediately at the door and the only space they had available were seats at the bar as the place was very busy. I ordered the 5 star burger with a ceaser side salad. My co-worker ordered the crispy chicken bowl, which came out as a crispy chicken salad. My side salad was kinda disappointing as were the cold fries. However the burger, cooked to order, on a specialty bun, with fresh crumbled cheese and bacon was excellent. Overall the inside decor is nice, the speed was a little slow, but they were full to capacity so that's understandable. The price was a touch high and the non burger food we ate was average at best. However the place is called 5 star burgers and man are their burgers good. I would definitely eat here again, I just wouldn't order a salad next time."
