"I've always ordered here before because back then, the portions and quality was really good and for the price, it can't go wrong. Until now. I ordered my usual Dinner For Two which consists of Sashimi and Sushi for a Good price. This time I noticed the Sashimi didn't look the same, it looked smaller, much smaller and thinner. The snapper didn't look fresh at all. Also the shredded Daikon used to be under every type of Sashimi, now it's just bunched up in one area. The sushi as you can seef in the picture, is really thin. Back then every slice was thick I don't know what happen, it's like their quality just dropped drastically or I'm hoping it was just this one time, maybe a lazy chef or something.I'm hoping the business sees this post and make changes."

The prices are low for most of the sushi but everything was either to salty or had no flavor the wasabi was good though

Tried the lunch special here, but it turns out if you get it as a to-go order, they don't give you the miso soup or salad. I wish they'd mention this in their menu. Seems pretty deceptive to me.

Honestly I expected more from this place . To begin with the sushi rolls are very tiny like if a baby is gonna eat it . Second of all due to how tiny it is you can't even taste or enjoy the roll . Very overpriced. Never again . I wouldn't recommend eating sushi here at all. View menu

Order to go food bento box did not come with soup or salad like it states and when ask for it they said they just change it today and doesn't come with it. For $20 not worth paying for a small piece of chicken not even cut, rice and 4 small California rolls. Best to say it was a kids meal

I wish I could give 0 stars. I ordered over 50$ of raw fish etc and this place handed me rancid very smelly sour fish. I made myself throw up because I'm scared to get awfully sick. I knew as soon as I showed up and the sushi house was at a Chinese restaurant, I should have got back into the car. Japanese food in a Chinese restaurant should have raised a red flag. . .

"Entry: We entered Oscar's via the front entrance of The Plaza at the West end of Fremont Street. Off to the left near the entrance is the escalator that leads you to their second floor. When we entered we were immediately greeted and seated by a friendly hostess. We requested a table with a view and she definitely obliged. Atmosphere:The ambience at Oscar's is about as good as you can get in downtown Las Vegas. Centered in a large and beautifully tinted glass dome you get panoramic views of downtown LV and even the sky. Service:The service was a spectacular star experience with our waiter. Our water and drinks were never empty. He was attentive, professional and friendly. Food Drink:The food was very good but not quite up to star. The Chilean Sea Bass was the full fish with skin which is quite different than how most steakhouses prepare just a single filet. It was supposed to be deboned however we found bones while eating. The skin on the filet should be crispy throughout but was only so around the edges. Definitely overpriced for the quality of this meal. The salmon was decent but not amazing. Overcooked just a smidge and not seasoned very well. So pretty much tasted like any other salmon you might expect from a or star restaurant. The filet mignon was decent but probably not even in my top The cut was more fatty than what you would expect from a high end steakhouse and not marbleized. I ordered it medium, and as many steakhouse chefs struggle with cooking a filet properly it was cooked to order on the edges and pretty much completely rare on the inside. The grilled asparagus was likely the high point of the dinner. Was cooked to perfection and tender in the middle, crispy on the edges. The creamed spinach wasn't great. The spinach was undercooked and affected the smooth consistency that you should expect from a good cream spinach.Overall:Definitely worth trying for the experience but don't set your bar too high"
