"I had a really dissapointing experience here last night. Two of my best friends rave about this place, and I was so excited to go. Got the 15-piece omakase for $150. The rice was cold and stale/chunky, there was a massive chunk of wasabi under each piece of fish, and 10/15 bites were borderline flavorless minus the wasabi. My The toro was flavorless. My girlfriend and I were wondering if we had Covid. I'm assuming something was off with the kitchen, because this did NOT meet expectations. For ne … – show"

The best place for the freshest upscale sushi in town. A true treat and a great place for something healthier option.

It's some of the best sushi you can get. The wait staff is very attentive. The decor is simple and clean. It's also priced accordingly.

Amazing sushi including some stuff we’d never had before… fluke fin muscle anyone? Charming minimalist decor and top-notch service as well. Highly recommended! View menu

Atmosphere is to die for but sushi was ok.. Considering the two of us spent about 300, not sure if the sushi was honestly worth that much. You tell me whether you think it was worth it. The vibe was really nice tho- typical quiet midtown east restaurant vibe

My boyfriend and I come here every year as a tradition for his birthday, and it never fails to disappoint! We order the market price omakase and have had incredible experiences with the chefs and with the quality of the food each time. We will keep coming back!

Wow, the ambiance will amaze you. This place has space, has a vibe and has a lot of positive human soul in it as well. The service is meticulous, the food is exceptionally delicious. If you are looking for an upscale yet totally honest place without any pretensions, you will be blown away. A true Japanese beauty. View menu

This place has unbelievably bad service, they refused to seat us despite having maybe two customers in the entire restaurant and claimed they were “full”. The host was rude and dismissive and extraordinarily unhelpful. I will not be returning, I had an overall awful experience with discourteous and illmannered wait staff. If I could give 0 stars I would

The restaurant itself was very comfortable, with soft woods from walls to the ceiling. The food was great, but I was unfortunately unable to get a seat at the counter for the omakase, so I opted for a table which we were seated immediately. Got the fried monkfish and the fresh abalone for appetizers. I decided on the a la carte menu, and the fish was fresh and well presented. Will definitely be coming back to try for the countertop omakase.
