"I'm sad to report that the quality of food at this restaurant has significantly dropped. The oxtail, which used to be rich and flavorful, is now merely average. The pastries, including the currant roll, cheese roll, and pineapple tarts, were stale and hard, with a distinct old taste. I used to be a regular and truly enjoyed dining here, but now I find myself questioning whether there's been a change in the kitchen staff or if the decline in quality is a result of COVID. I'll give it one more try to see if this was just a bad day."

The food here is always good. The services is pretty good , the wait is usually 10-20 min max. It's more of a place you pick up food unless it's nice out View menu

This was such a great find. We ordered the beef plate with rice and beans, and the shrimp roti. Both were delicious. The place is really small and can seat maybe 8 people max.

I’ve had a few of their curried stews with rice and beans in the past but the oxtail with rice and beans are my favorite!Doubles are yummy and macaroni pie is delicious! This is my go to place!

beef and curry chicken roti is good, but they've reduced the filling to the point where there's an excess of roti wrap. roti should be hard to finish.these are wrapped like burritos and filled just enough for some structure. i guess the cost of food necessitated this change, but it's very disappointing. Came by here for lunch with some colleagues when we were in the area. I got an order of their veggie roti, which was pretty good and very filling. I ended up not being able to eat it all in one sitting. There wasn't too much seating indoors, though they had some outdoor seating available. Service was friendly. Would consider coming back here if I happened to be in the area again.

3.3.18 so we stumbled upon this place while we waited for our table at Am Thai Bistro. We got a veggie roti and a Salt Baked Fish, or something like that. We met May who's the daughter in law of the the namesake to the restaurant. They'll be hitting two years in July and I think they'll make it, or at least I hope because their food is pretty darn good. The food isn't over seasoned and it tastes like everything is made fresh. I think they are well known for their

"When we called to reserve a table, no one informed us that there was a dining time limit of 1.5 hours. My friend wanted to invite more people to join us for dinner, but I was unsure if everyone would agree to the minimum charge of $60, including taxes and tips. I confirmed a reservation for 7 people during my second call, but ultimately, only 6 of us showed up. The table we were given was quite small, making it uncomfortable for six people, especially with the mandatory minimum spending of $60, as well as a 20% tip. For just two people, the minimum tip is 18%. I was confused about the dining time limit—was it two hours or 1.5? The party area was limited to just the backyard for additional seating. I was with friends who didn’t know the group well, and we arrived early at 3 PM, but we couldn’t wait until 6:30 PM. That’s why we ended up sitting at a separate table for two. Unfortunately, the restaurant didn’t seem to care and couldn’t arrange for us to be seated closer together. We had no choice in the matter. To make matters worse, the female waiter had a poor attitude. It felt like we were dining in a sidewalk market. She questioned another girl who served me ponzu sauce, apparently because I looked impatient when I saw her face. Her attitude only worsened after that. It seems like they need to train their employees better, as they seem unaware of how to provide good service. As for the food, it was just okay, typical of basic Japanese cuisine. There were too many restrictions! Customers are forced to adhere to the restaurant’s rules and limitations. I cannot recommend this place unless someone is specifically looking for a fast-food experience. In short, I don’t think I’ll be returning next time."
