"The Mexican food here is mediocre and overpriced. They charge extra for everything, even for chips and salsa—which they offer every time but fail to mention isn’t free. Adding less than half a scoop of beans to a single taco costs more than half the price of the taco itself ($3.50!). There are so many better Mexican restaurants in San Francisco—don't waste your time here. Avoid it if you can. The staff are nice, which is the only reason I initially gave more than one star. However, after receiving a rude response from the owner suggesting I just buy Doritos, I feel this place doesn’t even deserve two stars. It's disappointing, and the owner should be ashamed of speaking that way to paying customers."

Delicious super fresh fish taco, one of the best I’ve had and the staff were very friendly. Would go again!

Amazing food, good portions, friendly staff, worth the visit. Baja shrimp is delicious. Some of the best burritos in the bay area!

Randomly stopped to get tacos here yesterday and received GREAT customer service! Don't frequent this neighborhood often, but when I do, THIS is my spot!

This is the best taco spot in San Francisco! The food is fresh, the restaurant is clean, and the staff is fantastic. We make a trip here once a month just for the tacos. And the owner? He's great, too! View menu

This is a fantastic place for a quick lunch! I tried the al pastor taco and their fried fish taco, accompanied by chips and salsa. If I find myself in the area again and need a simple meal, I would definitely order the same again.

A wonderful discovery! This little corner shop offers delicious house-made specials. I've particularly loved the Al Pastor tacos and the Mexican rice. The staff was polite and attentive, and the service was prompt. Plus, they provide large, sturdy napkins!

Chicken soup was nothing to be excited about, shouldn’t be in the menu. Chips were delicious salsa was descent. Agua Fresca were good. If you’re desperate for the taste of subpar Baja California , then this is your place. Otherwise save your money and head to Taco Bell. View menu

The tacos here are made with fresh ingredients and are absolutely delicious! The interior is charming, bright, and colorful, with lovely high table seats by the windows. The staff is incredibly friendly, helpful, and kind—especially Daryl! They truly exemplify excellent customer service. I will definitely be coming back!

Everything was freshly made so it took a bit longer than traditional spots. Food was average. I liked the crispy tortilla they used and how the salsa had lots of tomato instead of lots of onions. The only reason I couldn’t give 5 stars was the value of the meal. It feels like it’s a lot for what you get, but then again it is San Francisco and in the Filmore. It has a nice vibe and seating areas.

"Earlier this year Salty 's was featured in one of the top 100 places to eat in the Bay Area in 2022, and after trying it a couple times, it 's easy to see why. Quality and flavor, great customer service, it checks all those boxes. I occasionally visit the 24 hour fitness on Van Ness, and Salty 's happens to be just few short blocks away which makes it perfect when I 'm looking for a post-workout sandwich. And for those that know me, I love me my sandwiches. On my latest visit, I decided to go with the 'Glorious B sandwich, which come with turkey, bacon, avocado, pepper jack, veggies, and garlic mayo. The blend of flavors and high quality of the turkey is no wonder it 's at the very top of the menu list. It 's one of those sandwiches, that you can bring to park and not need a ton of napkins to get through. It was well put together, with the ratio of all the ingredients matching well. Nothing overpowering, just sandwich perfection. The size of the sandwich I thought was the perfect size for my appetite. As I 've gotten older I can 't put down as much food as I used to, and after one-half I knew I could 've stopped eating, be content, saved the rest for later. But of course I ate the whole thing and nothing sounds better than taking a quick power nap right after. I love that their menu has so many different sandwich combinations, so definitely take time to check their menu before calling-in/walking-in to order because it 'll definitely save you some time. On my latest visit, I was in and out in 10 minutes. Definitely towards the top of my list of sandwiches in this part of town!"
