"This review is for their location in a strip mall on Creedmoor Road. Four of us were in the mood for Thai, and came here for dinner after a long, tedious and tiring drive from NJ on a holiday weekend. We were astonished to notice how tiny this place was – there was a small counter and only two tables each with four chairs. We figured that it is primarily a Take-Out place. The service was a little slow, probably because they were busy preparing several orders to be picked up. There was a constant stream of people picking up their orders. But our food, when it arrived, was well worth the wait. Every dish was perfectly prepared according to our specifications of “medium spicy”, and presented well. Our order consisted of 2 Bangkok Roti Canai for appetizers, and Pad Ma Mung with Vegetables, Red Curry with Vegetables and White Rice, and Pad Khi Mao with Steamed Tofu for our Main Course to be served family style. The portions were substantial, and we even had some leftovers. Our server, Mika was very sweet, pleasant and courteous. We will be back on our next visit to see the family in this city."

I was so looking forward to Thai food that Sunday in May. I ordered 2 dishes. The food was awful. Greasy noodles, no flavor, dry tough chicken and almost no vegetables. And the soup was all noodles, no broth. No wonder it was empty when I arrived. What's going on there??!!

We used to order from this place at least once a week because we absolutely loved their food. Couldn’t go wrong with anything on it. Drunken noodles, all the curries… amazing. Until a couple months ago. I don’t know what happened, but it’s gone downhill. Must be a new cook or something. I only write this review so it may get some attention from management for some corrective action… get that old chef back please!

I tried the chicken pad thai and spring rolls at this restaurant and overall, I found it to be okay. The order arrived in a reasonable amount of time and the food was fresh. However, the pad thai was not as flavorful as others I have tried and the noodles were a bit dry. The spring roll was decent, but could have used more seasoning. I might give this place another chance, but next time I would dine in at the restaurant. Sometimes the experience is better when you actually sit down and eat. View menu

Ordered via DoorDash, where this restaurant has rave reviews. Tough, fishy mussels. Extremely dry chicken (in both the curry and soup). Crunched down on something gritty while eating my curry. Overcooked rice and noodles. Expensive, too 50 for a meal for 2, not including tip for driver). Only items I'd recommend were the spring rolls. Extra star because the food was packaged thoughtfully. If this is the best Thai food in Raleigh (as some reviewers have claimed), I'd hate to try the worst...

I had a great time at the Thai bistro. I arrived around noon when they opened and ordered a Thai iced tea, roti canai, pad see ew, and tom yum fried rice. The Thai iced tea was delicious, the roti canai was a bit oily and not crispy enough for my taste. I really enjoyed the tom yum fried rice, which had a nice kick to it. I tried it with scallops, but I felt that the flavors didn't blend well together, so I might choose a different protein next time. Thanks to Thaiphoon Bistro for a great meal!

If you are visiting Raleigh from out of town or are new to the area, keep in mind that this restaurant is located in a bustling area where parking can be difficult during busy times. I had to quickly find a place to park illegally for a couple of minutes to pick up my order. The food was average; we tried the Drunken noodles with shrimp and the Green curry with chicken. The chicken seemed a bit stale and the noodles were just okay, not the best we've had. Overall, we would only give this place 3 stars. View menu

Thiaphoon Bistro is, in my humble opinion, underrated and overlooked. Nestled right behind the Hibernian Pub and just steps from the bustling Glenwood South in Raleigh, this gem is a hidden gem. The restaurant is always clean, quiet, and charming. The front terrace is also fantastic - large, spacious, and quiet. Despite its proximity to the lively Glenwood South district, it maintains a peaceful atmosphere. The food is always delicious, and the service is top-notch. The bar is also great, offering everything you could need. Overall, I give Thiaphoon Bistro two thumbs up.

Lord Jesus! You call this Thai food? Thai food is soul food but what we received was not even close to it. Food had no flavor whatsoever and it seemed like they forgot to put seasoning in all 3 of the dishes. Fried rice was no different than normal white rice. Like c'mon y'all fried rice has EGGS in it! just Google Thai food man and try to follow how to make it. Maybe then you'll know how to cook authentic Thai , or even somewhat close to authentic will do. Chicken in Panang Curry was so chewy and tasted decades OLD! Fried rice chicken was ok. Drunken Noodles weren't the wide one but the noodles used in pad thai. What a waste of money. People giving 5 and 4 stars haven't tasted the real and...
