"I had a wonderful experience dining at this restaurant. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive to our needs. The chicken Tom Yum soup was outstanding—one of the best I've ever had—though I could have done without the tomatoes. The portion sizes were very generous and could easily feed three people. The cashew chicken and chicken fried rice were both flavorful, but I think I’ll try the curry or basil dishes next time. The egg rolls were decent and very crispy, but they could use a bit more flavor on the inside. The garlic shrimp was a delightful surprise and surprisingly delicious."

"I am easily infatuated with this place. I love coming here with groups of friends to truly show them some of the beauty in the downtown Chinatown area. I love the location of this restaurant, as it really gives a clear view of the towns, history and influence. The staff here is extremely friendly and kind. The restaurant is commonly busy, which let you know how good the food and services but they always make time to treat each and every guest there with patience and care. The food here is spectacular as well, especially when you go to Eden person. The portion sizes are huge so it is very easy to just order one large portion of something on the menu and bring out plates so everyone can take some of each item and everyone can try some of. My group and I loved the Sesame chicken, the general tso chicken, the Singapore styled noodles, shrimp, fried rice, and eggrolls. There were all absolutely amazing and I would recommend this place to anyone."

"I called early this week to reserve a large, more private table at Lieu 's for a birthday party for two women at my church. When I reserved the room, I was told that it could accommodate a total of 12 people. We had 10 RSVP, so I though everything was good. When I arrived about 5 minutes early with a few other members of the group, the hostess refused to seat us because our entire party was not present. About 20 minutes later, 8 members of our party of 10 had arrived, and I asked to be seated as two of our party members were not sure when they could arrive and didn 't realize they had to arrive right at 6PM to be seated. As we walked back, the hostess refused to allow our party to sit at the private table in the back I had called and reserved. She was having the wait staff move the drinks/waters/silverware to another table of the same size in the bigger dining room. There were very few patrons in the restaurant at the time and actually for the whole evening, so space wasn 't an issue. The hostess insisted that she could not allow us to have this table with 10 chairs as our party had only 8. This was even though our other two members were on their way, but did not arrive exactly on time. I was humiliated in front of my friends as I had tried to make this a special event for my church group, and I was treated like I was attempting to do something wrong or deceptive by asking for the room I had reserved. I will never eat here again. This was very poor customer service, and there was no reason for it."

"I had a wonderful culinary experience in bangkok thai cuisine. from all restaurants where I had the pleasure to eat kab-Klanoon, this special restaurant with a distance has the most superior best-tasting crab rangoon that I had ever had in my life. while most other restaurants in the regular very hard to have sometimes unpalatable teig that they wrap around the ringoon and then deep freeze it, bangkok thai kitchen uses a very unique teig that has this very beautiful soft crispy texture and excellent taste. I didn't just have one of them, but I had to get one to go home with me, they were so good. I also had the tom yong chicken soup and seafood soup I also ordered a squid padthai. the meal was stubborn and the service was exceptional. I recommend going here when they are over in the region soonwin and randomly have a hankering for Thai cuisine."

"If you’re a vegan visiting the beautiful countryside of Nor-Cal you HAVE to try this place. I was visiting Petaluma with my boyfriend for my birthday and we had dinner here tonight. We ordered the pot stickers, green onion pancake, orange sesame tofu, and chow mein. Everything was delicious, the portions were very generous and we left full and satisfied. The fact that they have a full vegan menu was such a pleasant surprise, that’s more than we can say for a lot of places back home in Orange County. The service was very nice as well, the owner kept saying how much she loves vegan people. Well we love you right back!"

"I have ordered from Yummy Thai for years and this was the absolute worst! I ordered a lunch special that was supposed to be delivered by 12:15pm. I went to see if it had arrived at 12:25 and it had not. So I called and was told the delivery driver had just left he will be there shortly. My location is only down the street. I waited patiently for another 20 minutes and called again. Once again I was told he would be there shortly. The delivery was at the corner. I met the delivery person outside and wondered if by now my food was cold. Well, in fact it was. My spring roll was sitting in the sauce of the entree and was soggy, my sticky rice was so sticky that I could not pry it apart with 2 forks. Everything else was cold. Terrible!!!!!!!!!!!It took an hour to receive an order that was only down the street. Never again."

"Decent Thai food but not the best in town. Picked up the black pepper steak and the red BBQ pork over rice. Pepper steak tasted similar to bulgogi, but it wasn?t as amazing as some people portrayed. The combination of beef with lettuce would have been better in a burger instead of rice, and a side of mayo would have enriched the flavors. The BBQ pork was also dry and it wasn?t as good as the ones I?ve tried at other Thai restaurants in the neighborhood."

"We chose to try Lieu's instead of a steakhouse over the weekend, and we were impressed with the staff from start to finish. Everyone was very friendly. Our waiter was great and attentive with refills. My orange amaretto sour was delicious, and the wontons were my favorite. You’ll be almost full by the time the entrées arrive. I really enjoyed the Chongqing chicken, although it was quite spicy. My friend liked his combination lo mein, even though he didn't want any veggies added. WE WILL BE BACK SOON!"

"I'm not one to normally write a review, but to not share my experience would be doing the community a disservice.I got to the restaurant with my plus one at 7:30. There was one other person in the restaurant. We were sat down by a middle-aged woman with black hair and she prompty asked if we were ready to order. We hadn't been given a literal minute to look over the menu. I told her no and she then explains that the restaurant would be closing in 30 minutes; although the website and Google state 8:45 PM. I said okay and to come back in 5 minutes. She returns and we place our order. Shortly after she returns with the food. 40 minutes later, she never returns. We finished eating 20 or so minutes after getting our food, recalling they were closing at 8 PM. I can hear her around the corner talking to someone, so I turn the corner to find her on FaceTime. I ask for the check and she states that she will bring it to the table. Ten minutes later, she is still on FaceTime but does not bring the check. At this point I have gone from slightly aggravated to annoyed. I walk over and ask for the check and she says that I can pay at the terminal. Why tell me that you will bring the check over if I can pay at the counter? I ask for the itemized copy of the receipt, given all I can see is a total. I pay and ask for a to-go container.I will not return given the treatment from the one and only staff seen with an empty restaurant and I would advise you to avoid dining in at all cost."

"Though the atmosphere feels a bit dated here and there, everything else about my visit was absolutely top notch! I was there with two others while in the area on business in early December, so the vibrant summer crowd out by the lake was nowhere to be seen. As I usually do, I asked the waiter to help guide my decisions and I am very happy I did. The pork ribeye was amazing! There's a lot going on with this dish, but the result is not quite like any other dish I have had. So tender, moist and flavorful. I would otherwise have gone straight for the Walleye, and I'm sure I would have been perfectly happy... now I will choose the pork every time!"

If I was able to give no star I would, this store have bad customer service, no patience, racist against their own race, I bought a lot of their desserts and the server/cashier got no patience and was giving me attitude. Alsoordered food to eat and sat down at the table, but they packed it. I went and told her that we didn?t order to go and she saidwe said ?to go? but I said no we didn?t, and she give me attitude and a big ?ughh? sigh, said a word in her language whileturning and walking away. Afterward, they came back with our food, but didn?t even bother to come and ask if we need anythingelse while we were there or give us any water. Usually every restaurant give water to their customers but they didn?t give usany. As a matter of facts, there were another group of people sitting right next to us, Americans, they came after us, they wereserved nicely, given water and were asked throughout their time there if they needed anything and was constantly served water.This restaurant need to educated/train their staffs better. "this place is not a din in, the prices are far too high, I can get cheaper and larger parts from it in manhattan, and this is manhattan, is not a cheap area to get food. I tried to put an order to the place, but the owner totally ignored me, and it didn't look like they were ordering to take in. not only that, but it is extremely rude. I tried to call a command that's just ridiculous, and she got angry and hanged on me when I gave her my number. I wanted to correct them because she repeated my number incorrectly. she said 5 ciffers for the last 4 ciffers my phone number, which did not make any sense. I did not even finish buying from there, it was not my time worth, but from reading the other reviews, they do not even get a fair part for the price. definitely recommend this place not, too expensive, terrible service, rude owners. I decided because of my situation and because of the lack of Thai places in the bronx. but if they have the feeling to get some Thai food at a fair price where they get much more out of it, choose another place."

"I am writing my first review and if possible, I would give this restaurant 0 stars. The food was extremely bad, in fact the worst I have ever had. We tried to eat it but couldn't. The broth tasted like tap water and the shrimp in our pho was brown and inedible. We ended up paying over $90 for 3 phos, a stir fry, and 1 drink. The service from the waitresses was good, but the food was just awful. We don't understand why this place has such high ratings. Save your time and money and avoid this restaurant."

"This is my favorite for affordable American style Chinese food in the neighborhood. The food tastes more clean and fresh than the other spots, better quality. It's a family owned business and sometimes they are understaffed, but I have never had any real issues or didn't mind being a little patient for them. The lunch and dinner chef are different... I've actually had some exceptionally good lunches, the chef is just on another level at lunch. Honestly never had a bad food experience at Shanghai Lee and I've been ordering or dining in there for 15 years. I'm giving them 5 because their score deserves a boost and it's a very reliable spot for me."

"I have ordered takeout from Dozika for over a year now ~quite~ frequently and highly recommend using their online platform for delivery. Our order is always the “favorite combo” and we order a side with it. When you use their online platform with *this* combination you also receive a free item which we use to get another appetizer; for two we EACH get two reg. maki, and we each get to pick a side (one free from the limited free item opt on the online platform) for delivery under $40. The food quality, and customer/delivery service serve us SO well for this price. Look forward to ordering from Dozika time and time again!"

"This review is for their location in a strip mall on Creedmoor Road. Four of us were in the mood for Thai, and came here for dinner after a long, tedious and tiring drive from NJ on a holiday weekend. We were astonished to notice how tiny this place was – there was a small counter and only two tables each with four chairs. We figured that it is primarily a Take-Out place. The service was a little slow, probably because they were busy preparing several orders to be picked up. There was a constant stream of people picking up their orders. But our food, when it arrived, was well worth the wait. Every dish was perfectly prepared according to our specifications of “medium spicy”, and presented well. Our order consisted of 2 Bangkok Roti Canai for appetizers, and Pad Ma Mung with Vegetables, Red Curry with Vegetables and White Rice, and Pad Khi Mao with Steamed Tofu for our Main Course to be served family style. The portions were substantial, and we even had some leftovers. Our server, Mika was very sweet, pleasant and courteous. We will be back on our next visit to see the family in this city."

"I recently relocated to Union City from Los Angeles and have been on the hunt for a great Thai restaurant. My wife and I decided to try this place since we both enjoy Thai cuisine. The food here is delicious, and the customer service is very welcoming. We particularly enjoyed the BBQ chicken and fried rice—it’s a great combination since the chicken is one of their signature dishes. The pad see ew was tasty but could benefit from a bit more sauce. As for the crab cakes, they were decent, though I would have preferred if they included more crab and were made in smaller, fried pieces instead of just two large ones. The dipping sauce was also quite good!"
