"I called early this week to reserve a large, more private table at Lieu 's for a birthday party for two women at my church. When I reserved the room, I was told that it could accommodate a total of 12 people. We had 10 RSVP, so I though everything was good. When I arrived about 5 minutes early with a few other members of the group, the hostess refused to seat us because our entire party was not present. About 20 minutes later, 8 members of our party of 10 had arrived, and I asked to be seated as two of our party members were not sure when they could arrive and didn 't realize they had to arrive right at 6PM to be seated. As we walked back, the hostess refused to allow our party to sit at the private table in the back I had called and reserved. She was having the wait staff move the drinks/waters/silverware to another table of the same size in the bigger dining room. There were very few patrons in the restaurant at the time and actually for the whole evening, so space wasn 't an issue. The hostess insisted that she could not allow us to have this table with 10 chairs as our party had only 8. This was even though our other two members were on their way, but did not arrive exactly on time. I was humiliated in front of my friends as I had tried to make this a special event for my church group, and I was treated like I was attempting to do something wrong or deceptive by asking for the room I had reserved. I will never eat here again. This was very poor customer service, and there was no reason for it."

The best Chinese food in the upstate hands down. The sweet and sour chicken is to die for and the lo mean is fantastic. A little higher in price, but you'll taste the difference immediately.

If you are interested to try Chinese cuisine, then should definitely visit Lieu. The ambiance of this place is welcoming and have good seating capacity. They have pretty good menu options and the food tastes delicious. We had a quality time and would definitely recommend.

I paid 25.00 for Spring Rolls and Shrimp fried rice. The shrimp fried rice was salty and the rice was not prepared properly. A total of 6 shrimp in the meal. A waste of money and time. I called back and the young lady was hateful and didn’t even ask me if I would like to speak to a manager.

Honestly n fully enjoyed my meal. The visit was great n my server was pleasant. Price tag was actually lower than expected to so I'm happy with that. I absolutely love this place. It's the epitome of authentic Chinese cuisine where you can sit down and enjoy a delicious meal. I ordered the beef and scallops, while my partner had the happy family dish. We also shared the incredibly tasty salt and pepper calamari and the banana spring rolls. Everything was amazing! The service was top-notch and the prices were very reasonable.

This is one of the best Chinese restaurants for quality Asian food. It's a treat for me dinning here cause I feel like I'm getting the best of the traditional dishes and some that are less traditional but flavorful and spicy, if that's your thing (it's definitely mine). I'm just waiting to meet Lieu so I can tell him how good he's doing...keep it up team! Oh...and...and my cousin Gloria treated me, so I didn't pay for a great meal at my cousin birthday dinner there. What else can you ask for.
