"The Cafe (w Beech St) offers meals priced between $40 and $60, but unfortunately, the experience did not justify the cost. Service was very slow; one person ordered a salad that was repeatedly recommended but then we were told an hour later it wasn’t available. Despite being the only table dining for two hours, it still took a long time to be served. The menu items were unremarkable and not worth the high price. They do not accept credit cards and could not provide separate bills even after initially saying they could. Payment was only accepted in cash or Venmo, despite being told card payments were possible. When I attempted to pay via Zelle, they insisted it be a personal rather than a business transaction. When the food finally arrived, it was cold and overly seasoned. The chicken tasted more like lemon flavoring than actual chicken. Additionally, the owner and head server appeared visibly impaired. I would recommend avoiding The Cafe (w Beech St) altogether."

The best lobster tail I've ever had—surpassing even my own! Tender, juicy, and perfectly sweet, everything a lobster tail should be. The fresh mozzarella sticks are incredible too, delightfully melty in the best way. Take an extra block and experience The Cafe—it’s worth it!

We had a wonderful experience at the restaurant! The food and desserts were absolutely delicious. The service was outstanding, and I highly recommend it for a fantastic time, especially on open mic nights. The staff and the owner are incredibly talented and even perform on stage! We loved every moment! It's a perfect place for both couples and larger groups!

The food and drinks were simply outstanding. John, the chef and bartender, truly excelled in his craft. We sampled the frozen margaritas, coconut shrimp, lobster rolls, and a burger—each one was delicious. And definitely save room for dessert; the ice cream over the fried brownie is simply heavenly! We were lucky to visit during open mic night, which made the experience even more enjoyable. It was a pleasure to watch and listen to various performers sing and play.
