"Got tea and tacos, the food was absolutely wonderful. The owner and cook was really nice. The service girls at the front and wait time was not great. We waited a long time for our food which is really hard on kids. We saw others getting served who had ordered after us. We did not get our entire order when the food did arrive and then had to wait a long time for that order to come. Neat outside eating area and courtyard."

I was quite disappointed with the avocado toast I ordered, as it was merely bread—bread is not toast. The flavor was lacking, and I found the price to be unreasonable. My son had the biscuits and gravy, which were overwhelmingly garlicky. I won't be returning! View menu

We just recently moved to the area and tried the cracked mug house for the first time, last weekend. It was delicious, friendly staff, cozy place, reasonably priced and it's local coffee! Had a caramel latte and a regular hot with cream and lavender (both of which were yummy). We will be going there often.

Love this place! This is the cute charming local coffee/lunch place I've been dreaming of since I moved to Helotes! Old Town Helotes finally living up to its potential! Beautiful relaxing setting, nice people , kid friendly, and...something other than fried greasy food in the area! Just add a couple of soup/salad options to the lunch menu and I'd be completely set
