Really excellent. Casual but stylish atmosphere. Really satisfying and thoughtful food — the duck was amazing. Great cocktails and super-friendly staff. We will be back.

Very fun bar/restaurant. It has such a good atmosphere, the playlist was crazy good. Like I was wondering if they actually had a DJ. Our server was great and the food was great too. Definitely will come back.

This is my new favorite spot in the city. Food is unbelievably good, really fair prices, unique craft cocktails, real all-are-welcome vibes, live DJ was all go. I just wish it was a bit bigger for more tables, but they still found seating for us. If you can get in, do it. You'll be impressed. View menu

Everything I had in my mouth while I was here was absolutely delicious. From drinks to food to SOUSE! The place is illuminated with great music and a beautiful POC rainbow. Our servers were more friendly than ever and they were able to accommodate us. I highly recommend it, and I can't wait to go back and continue to support black-owned restaurants!

They gave us such a pleasant experience. Good enough to make me leave this review, haha. The servers were super attentive. The food was awesome. Loved the burger, salad, wings, and shrimp. The pumpkin tres leches was very good as well. I will say the tamales were not my favorite. The filling kind of tasted like chili. Very weird. Everything else was super good though!

Not sure what I expected, but this was a disappointment. Visiting Chicago for the first time in several years as part of my month long birthday celebration and wanted to try some places that were new to me. Very negative experience. Came in, granted it was busy, but sat at the bar on Sunday. They were out of two menu items at 4pm (half our tables order)! One of which were tamales… A staple of their menu. We weren't greeted for a while when sat and in general could pick up on the very frantic and unpleasant energy that the staff was overwhelmed. I recently visited The Delta for the Sunday Soul Brunch and had a phenomenal experience. The food, drinks and service (great job Jordan) were excellent! The only small thing I would change is the volume of the music from the DJ and add some blues music. The food was just alright. Being from the South, I expected a more soulful flavor and a fusion of other tastes—especially after reading the website. It was more like confusion and nothing about the selections was memorable. I ordered the burger without the koolaid pickles.
