"I was very impressed with Laura and how she described how lovingly she makes their **** Mary mix. Now I love a good **** Mary. I don’t think I’ve ever had one this good before. She started off telling me a few ingredients that she emulsifies like tomatoes, roasted red peppers, jalapeños, pickles with juice, etc. The next visit to my table, I asked her a little bit more like are the normal things in the mix like horseradish and Worcestershire and she said yes and listed off a few more ingredients. It was without a doubt, the best **** Mary I’ve ever had. The food was fantastic too. I started with the cheese curds coated with Parmesan cheese and fried. Of course they were fabulous. It was hard to decide on an entrée, Laura helped and I got the salmon cake, Benedict, totally fabulous. I highly recommend this restaurant. I’m sorry I hadn’t tried it before. I had my dog with me and he was fine sitting on the porch with me. I will be back there for sure. Thank you so much Leslie B."

"Excellent Indian food! We dine at Mint twice a week for lunch or Dinner. We love the beautiful atmosphere and the impeccable service. The food is always served hot and the dishes are tasty. The owners are attentive and always come over to all their customers to see how their meal is, and if they need anything. This is our favorite restaurant in Boone and we highly recommend it."

"I read a recommendation for this BBQ place if we ever visit Boone NC. After visiting the Grandfather Mountain, we decided to try this highly recommended restaurant. Our waitress recommended the Heavy Hitter (only 48$ and it comes with 4 sides) which has BBQ brisket, BBQ half side ribs, pulled pork, ham, sausage. The food is absolutely delicious. The brisket melts in the mouth. The ribs are so tender and meaty. The sausage is so juicy. The pull pork is also delicious. The serving side is so big. My husband and I couldn’t finish half of the food. So, we asked for a box to take home the food for the next day. Oh, the side dishes are so delicious too. The sweet potato fries, the hush puppies…. This is the best BBQ place we have visited among many BBQ places in many states. Not only the quality of the food but the unbeatable price and service."

"Visited here for lunch on my anniversary trip to Boone with my wife. The greeter at the front complimented us on our anniversary-themed t-shirt. Our waitress was very kind and considerate, frequently checking in. We sat in a window table and the restaurant has some nice views of mountaintops. The environment is quaint and comfortable. The food was equally as good. We started with some artichoke dip with toasted bread. The bread was crispy and the dip was warm cheesy and artichokes were tender blending well as a dip with the bread. We also started with onion rings which were fried goodness. I had the spinach and chicken quesadilla for my main course and the quesadilla was warm, with gooey cheese, and delicious chicken complimented well with the spinach. If you are in the Boone area, this restaurant is one you have to try. Highly recommend."

"Stopped in while visiting from Delaware. What an awesome find this place was! The beer was good overall. I had a flight so that I could try the different styles and they were all decent if not exceptional. I enjoyed them overall. Our server was very friendly and was willing to make suggestions. What set this place apart was the food. We had the wood fired wings and the charcuterie board. Both were amazing! In addition my wife had one of the moonshine cocktails which was ridiculously good. They have a great location because they are right in the middle of everything downtown. We highly recommend you check this place out!"
